Sogi-Ya: shit ... talking a kettle calling the pot black

lol, "imperial wizard" ... the names these fucks give themselves.

I here by name myself "Fabolus Warlord" of of the "Goodly Gamer Group." (aka the "GGG")

Wraith: When I think Imperial Wizard I think of Emperor Palpatine.

Thats right, a Star Wars joke! I went there.

Also, GGG is already taken, and I don't think you want to be associated with it. Unless you like having stuff all over your face.
If only the KKK followed the Rule of Two. I call your joke and raise you 50.

I call. I think I've got a good hand with a Star Wars joke followed by a porn reference.

hedwards: All in all it's a completely different situation. You can't end the Klan violence with job programs the way that you can normal gang violence.
avatar
GameRager: Not really, as by your definition any group that commits cats of violence and/or supports such acts is a terrorist organization....hence yes gangs fit in this definition.

Oh and job programs don't help end gangs either btw.
No, with gangs the term is "racketeering" and it's profit based. If nobody paid up eventually the practice would die out on its own.

It's not my definition, that's what terrorism is. Besides, your point doesn't follow anyways.

Under the definition you use those are still terrorist acts, for profit or no, racially motivated or no.
avatar
GameRager: It is hateful speech(or included in the list of stuff currently found to be hateful speech to one group or another which PC groups like to point to for reference), but it isn't "terrorism" until they ACT on it, and only those doing such things have committed "terrorism"...not the whole group.
avatar
cjrgreen: Well the last time a group calling themselves Ku Klux Klan perpetrated an act of terrorism was 2006, and it was not condemned by any other group calling themselves Ku Klux Klan, so any claim that the organization has in any way renounced violence is false on its face.
Technically, the Klan is a minimally effective terrorist organization which was largely disbanded following the crack downs in the 90s. There's a few supporters left, but most of them moved on to other organizations.

But, that had more to do with the degree to which the name had become untenable to potential recruits.

You didn't say it but it's how gangs are described with how you define terrorism in regards to acts done by the KKK.
Nice. :)
Imagine looking at a bunch of KKK members and thinking, "Those aren't necessarily the craziest people here." How surreal.

I find it funny even the KKK has standards when it comes to their form of hate. I support their idea against the Westbore Church.
