Probably will take awhile, like Northern Expansion did.
GOG generally gets games a bit later than other sites. It's a feature and not a bug to me, because it means we generally get patched versions with the DLC included. Players who like the latest and greatest can find it a bit frustrating though.

No, if you want it right now, you'll have to pick it up from Steam. I haven't seen anything about it being a Steam exclusive, but GOG has generally lagged quite a bit in getting those games. It may be a while.

Double insta-ninja. Impressive.

Did you like the series overall so far? Then pick it up. It'll grow on you. It's actually a bit more challenging than the previous games (and I mean that in the best way; Impossible is far too easy to win with a little bit of patience, especially in WotN with Ice&Fire, where your slinger stacks become cherub-cheeked nuke launchers by the time you leave the starting four islands). It does feel like there was less attention to detail, less polish, than in previous iterations. But if you can get it for ten bucks, and if you have liked the series so far, you'll get ten bucks of enjoyment out of it.

Yeah, its a weird one, the reviews are by people that have spent like 100+ hours on the game, but they then heavily criticise it, If I hated a game that much I wouldn't be spending 100+ hours, so the reviews seem a bit hinky.

I haven't played the others, but, I have been getting interested in games like this since I started D:OS (turn based) and Wasteland 2, I was interested in pushing the turn-based mechanic a bit further, so I came to this game. I was afraid the age of the older ones may put me off and I was intrigued by the fact that this one had greater "choice" available for your character and I love vampire stuff.

I'm going to watch a few gameplay videos tomorrow, to get a better feel, thanks for the reply :),
