First of all - I can agree with most of reviews. This is a great game.

I like it, played for many hours and now I'm waiting for newest addons.

But, how it is good OLD game? It's a 2008 title which is being still sold and new addons are being published in a few next weeks. Ok, game is great but there are many older games I would like to see here.

System Shock, Need For Speed (1 2 3 Porsche), Colin McRae, Legend of Kyrandia series (1 2 3), Settlers 2 Anniversary, Silent Storm, more UFO games, Jazz Jackrabbit, Cannon Fodder, Command & Conquer (as I remember Red Alert was given for free by its producers), Civilization 1 2 3, Total War seriesand many many more I can only imagine to find here.

I can think of ~100 other games I would also like here but new games that I can still get in shops aren't as awaited by me.

This has been covered numerous times now. "Old" is relative and in most cases all it really means is it is a game that is no longer available on retail store shelves, which for most people, King's Bounty qualifies (I don't think it was ever available in stores in my area). Additionally, sometimes GOG is only given access to certain games and they either have to take them (assuming they are good games) or not begin a working relationship with that particular rights holder (not saying that is the case here).

Well the game is about 2 years old. ;)
I can't understand why people complain that "new" games are available on GOG. You get to purchase these games without DRM and their price will most likely never rise above $9.99. Why complain about semantics when you get good opportunities?
Ok, we have an awsome reimagining of a classic title that would later grace us with classics like Heroes of Might and Magic.
It stays true to the original as much as it can and adds only good stuff to the mix, so I really don't get how people could be bothered with this?

Would you rather they sold the original?
Did you ever see the original? It look terrible even by old game standards and I don't see it selling more than 10 copies, even here on gog.com.

stroos: Cannon Fodder
well there's a surprise for you in the gog catalogue

Welcome to GOG Mikolaj. We had such discussions before, with King's Bounty as well as with Two Worlds.

It's not old and yes, there are a lot of old games I'd like to see here too.
Problem is, you can't always get what you want. Not even here. If GOG had the option of adding System Shock, they'd do it, no doubt about it.
However, if they do get the opportunity to add a rather new game like King's Bounty: the Legend - why shouldn't they? Just because it's not "old" enough? That's a rather ridiculous point and even if that would be a factor, where to draw the line between considering a game old or new?

I'd buy it. It's sitting on my shelve next to my Heroes of Might & Magic series, but I'd buy it.
Here's a definition of 'old game' for you:

A game that a publisher is no longer expecting a significant return from and / or is willing to release without DRM.

Settlers 2 as well.
I used to play King's Bounty on my MegaDrive (Genesis) in the early 1990s.
This "new" one is little more than a remake. I think.

Well, obviously. It would be far more suitable for this site than the sequel, and it is a classic after all. I'd certainly buy it.
I don't really mind that KB: The Legend is here, or other new games, but as I have said about a million times before, GOG's strength lies in offering games that aren't available everywhere else already, and KB: The Legend can be found on just about every digital distribution outlet around, as well as in bargain bins around the world.

It would be more suitable, but my point was that the years weren't kind to it as with other 3DO games and as such it would be more of a novelty item then a game of interest.
It's just a better move to sell KB: the Legend for gog as a buisness and for gamers to get a nice new/old kind of thingy.
Another thing is that I have a soft spot for KB: the Legend, as it's the only game that glued me to my computer in a long time.
The old school gamplay, light-hearted fantasy world, attention to detail, quirky humor, it just feels right seeing it on gog.
It's interesting to note how it s Kings Bounty that gets most of the flak while being a great game. Why not rip on Driver: Parallel Lines? It's a 2007 game and it's not a very good game.

If it's on GOG then it is old enough to be on GOG.

The idea behind the name "Good Old Games" is that you can find old games here, not that you can't find games that aren't old. I don't think GOG would ever pass up a game for being too new.
GOG is at its best when it's digging up games that are expensive, hard to find, hard to get running, or that have never had a digital release - but all games are at their best when they're cheap and DRM-free.
DodoGeo: Driver is "one-version-game", KB got one addon already and next one is coming to stores this month - I think that's why. KB: Armoured Princess can be found almost everywhere - nice thing about gog is that we have here DRM-free but KB is one-player game so playing on one copy with a friend wouldnt make a difference. I have CD-version bought ~ year ago for 10usd (new, boxed)

I would like to play original KB bought here.

WBGhiro, my bad, I see now - buying this week :)

Ralackk - I was writing about Settlers 2 Anniversary (with new graphics) - published in 2006. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Settlers_II_10th_Anniversary

Ok, I dont say gog is bad. I love gog. If it werent for Polish publishers (CD Projekt, Gog.com owner especially) I would have bought as many games as possible here. But CDProjekt put in Poland "cheap series with od games" where I already got Fallout 1/2/T, Settlers1/2/3/4, and many more games. It's a pity I have mostly "polonized" versions but hey, you cant have everything.
GOG, as far as foreign (not Polish), gamers are concerned, is a GREAT (and ONE and ONLY) opportunity to get great games at low prices. I dont know if there are "cheap series" in USA/Europe outside Poland.

I'm waiting for the moment when more CDP "cheap games" will be here - I like DRM-free content plus every game will work on new PCs (geeting to work some old games on Win7 can me frustrating).

GOG, do your best and add some more turn-based stategies like Civilization / Total War.
