Is this a port of the King's Bounty game on the old Sega Megadrive? (Genesis, for our Silly Murkian cousins:P).
It wasn't a bad game, per se, but it wasn't a great game, by any stretch...time-waster. no save (passwords-scheme only), no real compelling story, but there was a time-limit to finish it.

It's a sequel / standalone expansion (at least I think it stands alone) to last year's [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King%27s_Bounty:_The_Legend]King's Bounty: The Legend[/url], which was a sort of spiritual successor to the original King's Bounty to which you're referring, though the King's Bounty name wasn't attached until partway through development.

I've never played even KB (that new one, that is), however I was thinking about getting it.

Hmm. I think I'll pass then. There's more worthy games on gog for me ^_^...and not to mention (which I will anyway) that it'll soon be Christmas:P

I may have to get this. did play a bit of the king's bounty the legend. Like what i played of it.I may get this game right after i beat the main quest line for king's bounty the legend.I played the game for a few weeks then out of the blue stop playing .no idea why i stop playing. Time to find out where i put that box, then install and play it again.

They call that armoured?How in the world would that armor keep you from geting killed?

Loved the original game, and will definitely be getting Armored Princess, probably about a week after it's released.

Happily, her other incarnations are more heavily armored (as a princess should be!). These are the in-game portraits for each of the three classes. The silver cross armor is obviously for the paladin, so I'd guess that the red plate is for the warrior and the padded bustier is for the mage (at least I hope so, it'd be pretty absurd if it were the other way around).
The image at the top I guess is just bonus concept art, but it's pretty cool.

I'll be waiting for the inevitable 50% off sale as I haven't even completed the first one yet.

I did say "more" :p She -is- a general, though, as opposed to a front-line fighter, so I'm a bit more inclined to forgive this particular fantasy trope here. I would really rather see female soldiers wearing heavy full-body plate in fantasy games, though, as opposed to plate bikinis. Armor is useful!
Maybe female characters just have a natural +8 to dexterity that males don't get, though, so they don't get their full dodge bonus if they're wearing field plate :p

Played the Legend, eh, it was ok. Very much a time consuming game, got past the dwarf part of that one then got my internet. Now perhaps ill beat the 1st one after I get a legit copy of the expansion. Kind of like HOMM3 with some added char development one long long long main quest (or perhaps I was to busy doing all the side quests).
The pet sounds kinda cool, and the new boss fights, im hoping the game is harder then KB;TL.
Anyway, /shrug after I finish Settlers 2 ill prolly go on back to it :p unless I get distracted with another GoG game which.... will happen
