Yeah it's likely to become more common too as 1920x1080 becomes the standard res for all things (with 4k coming along in a few years) lower resolutions will be vanishing.

Nice that I had no interest in the game after viewing some gameplay footage.

Had this on preorder for 3 months.. then I played the demo....

The game plays FAR more generic than it looked, the mechanics are pretty weak with the combat being very mashy. The story (the part I was actually looking forwards to) is simply horrible, I was soooooo bored within the first 10 mins of play, the dialogues... the voice acting.. LAME!!!!. RA Salvatore writes utter tripe these days, and it 'shines' all though this 'experience'

I am heartily sick of fantasy worlds like this, it's as if game designers simply don't know how to make games with other world setups.

I cancelled it... the MMO is already dead to me, no way I want to mess around any longer in that particular fiction.

I quite like the demo. Havnt pre ordered the game but will buy it when it drops in price a bit on Steam.

It is a bit mindless and I think the story will open up better a bit later on in the game. I think it is going to be one of those games where you love it or hate it. Seems like the type of game where you can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

There's not really a lot of the story in the demo. It might get better later.

But we'll see when the game comes out.

Played the demo and enjoyed it although took a bit to get used to the graphics. Overall was mpressed with the scope of the demo although the graphics tearing on my geforce destroied the game a bit but being just a pre release demo and not the final code i can let it off. Ordered it through steam trying hard to avoid origin as everytime origin updates it buggers up my windows 7 and refuces it to shutdown.

I had it on preorder, and tried the demo. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was dull and uninspired and with the PS3 Skyrim patch right around the corner, I just went ahead and canceled my preorder. It's on my list to pick up when it drops to $30.

I had this problem so closed the game and stopped caring, if you have a solution let me know.

Go into the Options and go to Graphics and turn OFF Post Processing.
It's a bug that the developer apparently fixed ages ago for the release version, but they won't update the demo because they're lazy or too busy.

Options -> postprocessing -> off
it's listed on here about 20 times...

Thanks guys. Already turned off post processing. Worked fine. But playing through demo wont change my mind about it - if i wanted a console game i woulda bought a PS3/Xbox. Disappointing (especially since i am a big fan of R.A.Salvatores writing).
