Any chance the cRPGs added last year (BG, IDale, PT, NWN etc) could be on sale soon? I know they were in christmas but i couldn't buy anything because i had spent too much in the previous months, now i've got 50€ ready to shell out on all these games but was wishing to pay a little less so i could get all of them at once :P
with 50 € you can easily buy all of them and they worth it :)

I think no one can tell, when these will be on sale again, beside of GOG, and they will not tell anyone.
It wouldnt suprize me if they only go on sale at christmas if at all
Yeah, the dollar's not too strong right now so 50 Euro is about 70 dollars - that's seven games at the full price.

And, honestly - Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights right there is enough gaming to set you up for, oh, six months of heavy playing (with a vanilla playthrough and then some mods, you can get a solid 80 hours from BG1, 200-250 hours from BG2, 50-60 from PS:T, and probably 200 from NWN as well. You'd have to be ferociously hardcore to get through that in under 90 days).
BG2 and NWN1 are that big? : o

Yes. Baldur's Gate 2, in particular, may be the largest RPG ever made. People who haven't played through it, or who have done speed runs or who don't care about the character development and side quests, really have no appreciation for how ridiculously huge it is.

I am forced to concede the point, but I must warn you: wear sunglasses.

Uh Morrowind is a lot smaller than Daggerfall. Daggerfall is the whole of Tamriel including Morrowind :P (Ok it's mostly proceduraly generated but still.)
not a fan of elder scrolls :P

I do believe that you are talking about Arena. Though Daggerfall is bigger than Morrowind, I think.

yeah I am aware of that, overall though I think it's the better game (even if it had some features removed from it's predecessor)

Are they more traditional roleplaying? One thing I disliked about Neverwinter Nights was the fact that it was more of an A-RPG than a more traditional D&D game as you only had one character & 1 potential henchman/woman with poor AI.
