Hello, all! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you!
As you may or may not know, I am working on a turn-based, fantasy roguelike called Kilgazar. The game engine is completely original as are the graphics for the game. Pierce Roth did the character artwork and beta testing appears to be going smoothly. You can find more information about it on IndieDB.com. I've attached some recent screenshots to this post, too.
There is also a Facebook page and a Twitter page for those who use either site and wish to follow the game's development.
Things have been kind of busy for me this month causing development to slacken a bit.
HOWEVER...
I'm holding a giveaway to help promote the game, which I hope will be finished early next year. If you'd like, please vote for it on GOG's wishlist. It would be appreciated, but is not required to enter the giveaway and you don't have to tell me either way.
What's being given away?
I received these two free codes from GOG and will be giving them away.
- Realms of Arkania 1+2
- Realms of Arkania 3
To enter, say the game or games you'd like to receive. A winner will be drawn for each game and it's possible that the same person will win both games.
Entries will be allowed until around 10:00 PM EST Saturday, December 29. Random.org will choose the winners within a day or two after closing.
Rules
- Must have joined before Dec 2012.
- Must have 20 or more rep points.
- Trading of codes is not allowed. I'd like to give them to someone who actually wants to play the games. To ensure that the codes won't be traded, they'll be dumped into the ninja thread once I feel like enough time has passed for the codes to have been redeemed.
Small Print
- I reserve the right to include members who don't meet the requirements if I see they are truly just a new and active member.
- I also reserve the right to exclude members who appear to be a scammer of some sort.
Sorry this is such a meager giveaway, but I hope to have more to come and with better prizes as the game gets closer to being finished.
