wow just wow. IW used to be one of my favorite devs back in 2000 and look at them now. Is activision so desperate for money? First they put michael myers in a dlc, then Predator and now this. Also a big shout out to xbox for promoting this.

Who cares? It's a terrible game anyway... COD finally seems to be declining. Let's hope the next big thing will actually be worth somebody's time.

That's quite amazing, considering that they were founded in 2002.

yeah I always think that I played cod1 in 2000 for some reason. Nothing amazing bout it though....

Know that feeling. I always catch myself thinking that MoH:AA was released in 2000 while it's from 2002.

Anyway, nice find. Makes you facepalm indeed. And I'd also prefer the other guy's voice pack. :D

just amazed at the fact that activision is pissing on my childhood. They brought so many epic games on the atari 2600, then published epic shooters like quake, doom, wolfenstein, I even played their tony hawe games on pc but after that it went down to toilet. Amazing how the gaming industry changed so fast from having fun to making billions. Maybe I'm getting too old for games :s
I do not understand what is wrong with this. It's very clear that CoD games are aimed at certain audiences, they're very good at catering to those audiences, and Snoop Dogg is definitely a celebrity which largely overlaps with the given audiences. Clearly, you are not a part of this audience OP, but I do wonder how does Activision/Infinity ward sink low by not catering to you?

Personally, I absolutely don't understand the decision to include it as a sold DLC tho. To me, it would make a lot more business sense to include this VA into the base game to boost its sales, as ... Well, famous people sell games. DLC? Not so much.
I always imagined the average CoD player to be a teenager listening to CrapHop and talking like a gangster or pimp while uncreatively fighting his boredom by shooting virtual people with realistic looking guns.

Stereotypes have to come from somewhere, it seems like it was not too far off. oO

Yeah it amazes me that they charge you for sound effects nowadays and people will actually pay for this sh*t. I personally liked activision back in the atari days and even in the late 90's. But when I say they are sinking low I mean that they are out of ideas. Mike myers, predator and now snoop dog's voice as paid dlc?

In 10 years you have to pay for weapon's magazines if you wanna reload. Would be a great micro transaction idea :s

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely fine with it being a paid DLC. It's purely cosmetic and there's absolutely nothing forcing you into buying it - and it's completely non-consequential for the gameplay, so it's absolutely optional. As opposed to your slippery slope, which is ... Well, the exact opposite. Most DLC for modern military shooters is like that, aside from map packs - which again don't bring you any gameplay benefit whatsoever, they just split community, which is sort of bad for the game, but clearly not enough to actually harm it. And it's the kind of microtransactions I'm completely ok with because I can just ignore them and people who want to can buy them.

The point I was originally trying to make was that I do think Snoop Dogg included into the base game would sell more copies of the game, and in extension, more DLC sold in general. As opposed to him being included in DLC, which... Well, won't do that.

Didn't even watch it all. Just... wow. This is sad. Little low of Activision, mostly just the fact that it is just plain sad.
