It's the monkey inside of us, that makes us want to help others...

Thanks for this, I looked at all of them. You can feel the clarity of mind these exceptional events bring to all participants, and I assume that all the daily worries pale and appear trivial suddenly. Inspiring.
Nice. Makes you feel good to realise there are really decent nice people out there doing good for others :)

I concur with your assessment of our inner primal primate instincts as the source for the sharing of our good will to others, with or without a banana or other fruity inducements to perform... ;)
Ok i admit it, there was a tear in my eye after seeing that!
I wish this kind of stuff made the news more often. :(
Yo thanks man, very nice of you.

I wish this kind of stuff wasn't news at all but a common thing.

Yeah, me too. I like to think that with the right cultural changes, we could be more like that as a society.

That's a very nice proof that good people actually exist, but they're severely outnumbered by the real "proof of humanity" i'm afraid.
You can read about those in the news every day in articles about murder, corruption, rape, war etc.
I'm trying to be a good person, at least to the extent of my capabilities and personality. I might be a mild case of asperger's syndrome and i'm very antisocial so it's a bit hard for me to do something directly (i had a real hard time at the final oral exams at the university). So i mostly try not to cause any harm at least. As much as i don't understand people in general though, i could never understand why would anyone cause harm to others for no reason.
These pictures and videos show some great people and it's good to know they're out there.

Here's a little key i found in my mailbox

Let me know if the key worked
Human beings are capable of the best and worst kind of actions. It's warming to learn about the former ones from time to time. :)

For the content of your post, you don't struck me as antisocial (in the psychological meaning of the term).

Have you checked this personality disorder, just in case?

Still unredeemed at the moment. ;)

Have you gotten to a psychologist or psychiatrist and worked out a diagnosis? Getting access to proper treatment and help can make a huge difference.

that was probably a language mixup on my part. I'm not "antisocial" in the sense of violent behavior. The more accurate statement would be that i'm very reclusive and i find face to face interaction with people very awkward because i don't understand their behavior and they probably don't understand my behavior. I mean i'm always polite, dressed well and clean but still i people seem to feel somewhat weird around me so it feels awkward on both ends of the line i guess.

I have not been properly evaluated yet. I've been on antidepressant medication for some time though.
