Saw this on steam forums.

http://www.justadventure.com/shop/216/pay-what-you-want-special-3-maybe-4-great-games

3 games for $3:

Black Mirror
Dark Fall 2: Lights Out: Director's Cut (no clue if GOG has the DC version)
Aura: Fate of the Ages

If they sell 1000 units (and they don't have a counter that I can see) , Dark Reefs will unlock.

I already have DF2 here, anybody know anything about the rest - are they worth it?
I don't know them either, but I've read a lot that people praised and enjoyed Black Mirror. Then again, there's all kinds of people. ;)

EDIT:
From Wikipedia:
"The game's reception has been mixed. While most critics praised its dark atmosphere - created mostly by meticulously drawn backgrounds, music, ambiance and realistic animation and sound effects - the quality of the English voice-overs was unsatisfying to many. Other points of criticism include the game's rigid linear structure, pixel hunting elements and, most especially, the game's ending."
Heh. Apart from the dark atmosphere that sounds like a description of 80% of all point-and-click adventures.

Haha, I have all four of those games already. Black Mirror, Aura and Dark Reefs through sales on GamersGate and Dark Fall 2 on a compilation disc.

Ah... unfortunately I haven't played any of them yet so I can't say if they're any good or not.

I already posted my thought on BM on the latest "Gaming Deals" thread page, and as such don't want to repost that same stuff here, but I do think those into a good adventure will like it despite the few flaws it has. I do hope this release is minus the bug that cause my game to keep crashing long ago on the disc version though.

Good question. Also, is there any additional DRM involved for some of them? It might also be worth noting that the system requirements don't list the games as Vista- and Win7-compatible. Doesn't necessarily mean they won't work on them, but it's cause for caution.

THIS IS A SCAM. I ordered, was charged, and wasn't given any way to actually et the games, and they are not responding to any email requests.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing how I'm supposed to actually get what I paid for, either. A little help here? ¬_¬

I didn't get it(yet) but just because one doesn't get an email from them doesn't mean it's a scam. They could be flooded with emails from people. As for the no games bit...maybe that could be why they're(possibly) being flooded with emails.

Did you login to the site? Maybe they don't send email links, and you have to log in to see download links in your profile, like with groupees?

I don't have any account with this site, and their phony shop is not run onsite, it's some kind of farmed out spammers.

I don't believe that it is a scam. I have got my games when I've ordered from them in the past, but it would seem like they have some technical issues on their side. Also, how long have you waited for a reply? When there are a lot of tickets, then it can take a while for support to get back to you.

Also, the bundle is worth it for Black Mirror alone.

The promo page does say "login or register to record your purchases", so i'm guessing that's the problem.

JA has been around for a long while and so has their shop, i'm sure they'll sorth things out for you and everybody else who bough tthe pack.

Haha, that's a pretty big problem if there's nothing stopping you buying it when not logged in. Perhaps making an account with the address that you bought the games on would work?

You don't need to have an account to buy games from them. They will send you an activation code, that you then can apply to the trial version, to make it a full version, or just download it from the link that comes with the same mail as the activation code. A bit less convenient than say GOG or steam, but it works.
