mojoman69: I wish I had a good rep(20+) as well to enter. I agree the rep should be lower, maybe I'm biased as because I only have rep of 16.

With Steam all you need is 20 rep which means you can get enough rep from just a couple of reps from other members because I remember getting 28 rep points for just one of my posts in steam forums..

I think 10 rep would be good compared to steams 20.

Just hope I can be helpful enough over the next few weeks to be able to enter.

Trust me when I say that me having this high a rep is a miracle.

Plus as an aside I just thought up a good reason why the rep minimum is stupid(humor me for a minute here).....people could just use alts and bump their rep up anyways. So having a rep minimum for contests is pointless. Just a thought.

You can do it. Just make 1 post a day for 4 more days and you'll be there. You won't need rating boosts so don't try to get people to +1 you (they might +1 you of their own accord - I often do - but if you try to get uprates it can backfire). Finally, remember the first rule of rep: Don't talk about rep!

Funny though how one user mentions their rep isn't high enough to enter and they get a rep boost high enough to enter and I do the same(sorta) and mine goes down. :\

I think OP is being a bit unfair, yeah. Like being active on steam forums? What if you don't like steam forums and don't want to be active there? And rep minimum? Why if people can mess with their rep and get above 20 anyways with little effort?
