I'm sure I'm missing something, how can I directly jump to the newest post in a thread since I last visited the thread?

On my favorite topics I "sometimes" see a arrow link right next to the topic name on the right, but not always. In this screenshot there are new posts and I've none of them read yet, I've to click in every thread and scroll down and basically "search" for it ...?

I'm not sure how it's supposed to work,

sorry to hear that, thank you for the quick responses ... and I thought I missed it somewhere, went circles already. *sigh*

I asked this one a long time back as well. Alas, it's still not there yet. But! They did build a PM system in the mean time so who knows.. they might just get around to making the feature available this year... or so.

You can change your settings so that when you click on a topic title it will take you to the last page in the thread instead of the first. That's probably the closest thing to a "first unread" feature.

I really like the rare forums where everything you have not read yet remains "unread" forever, until you read it. And of course you can jump to first unread post.

I wish more forums did that. I hate how on 90% of my forums everything clears when I sign out.

Nice necro, btw, at least the length of time bears some relevance on the subject.

Only in the sense that the subject is not all that relevant to most forumites, otherwise the topic would have remained active for much longer than it did and more people would still be talking about it. It would be a nice feature, but it is really low in priority.
