real.geizterfahr: I bought the Gold Edition (not the upgrade) and the Pilgrim DLC.
I see. As I mentioned above, that doesn't seem to occur with those who bought the base game and its DLCs separately.

yyahoo: I'm not receiving that message when I go to the checkout screen. I'm pretty sure I purchased every piece of DLC for SOTSTP separately.

That's what it looks like on my shelf and at checkout (attached pic).

And, of course, our shelf views/files are the same (save the fact that I don't have the Downloader turned on), even though we purchased the game/DLCs differently.

What happens if you try to download the file without using the GOG Downloader?

You're not going to believe this.

I was able to download the file directly, without using the Downloader, as you suggest. So I grab the full file, go to install it.... AND...

Great... Guess I'll just wait a few more days before installing The Pit again xP

You need to download the whole lot and re-install. I have just been over this with the Democracy 3 Drones & Clones DLC.
The new GOG version is incompatible with the older version, so you have to reinstall with a more up to date version. The current version up and running should work. It did for me when I reinstalled all of the SotS yesterday, and then Democracy 3 today.

Okay, just to clarify, GOG updated the game and all of the DLCs when they released Juggy. Did you download and reinstall the game using the new versions or are you running a GOG version of the game released before the game was updated?

I re-downloaded nothing.

So... in order to get Jugg to work, I have to go through this whole laughable @#@% of a download sequence all over again? What happens to my current data?

So uninstall the lot, and then what order to I install all this merda in now?

I assume it's the same as before with Juggy added on to the end:

Base game
Mindgames
Gold
Pilgrim
Juggy

There is a very minor bright side, some of the file size downloads have diminished greatly. IIRC The Pilgrim used to be a 1 GB download. GOG now has it down to 27 MB...

Wow, is this a mess...

I pm'ed Judas for clarification a few hours ago, but nothing yet. I actually own the Gold Edition and all the dlc. I'm still bothered by this message when I purchased Juggernaut at checkout earlier today:

Please note that DLC: Sword of the Stars: The Pit - Juggernaut is already included in Sword of the Stars: The Pit Gold Edition which you own.

So, it is distinctly possible that I paid for something that I already own.
I would REALLY like some clarification on this. This unworkable mess needs to be addressed, as of now, I have a DLC I paid for with no way to install or play.
