Here at GOG.com, we're all about our users and the partners who decided to join the crazy ride into the DRM-free PC gaming. We stick with them through sickness and health, the good and the bad times. As you may have heard, JoWooD is having some tough times lately. Together with the publisher we've decided to give you a chance to get your hands on all the JoWooD titles you're eagerly wanting to buy, but maybe haven't yet. Well, now's your chance to grab those gems at a heckuva bargain!

In this special week-long promo we encourage everyone to get JoWood games with an up to 75% discount! The catalogue includes such gems from PC gaming's past like , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/gothic_2_gold_edition]Gothic 2, , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_guild_gold_edition]The Guild and more. If you buy all games from JoWood's catalogue, or complete the collection, you'll receive a 75% discount! If you're interested only in some games from the offer, you can still get them for bargain with 60% off! The promo ends on Tuesday, May 3 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Since you guys are all going to be asking: we don't know what the future holds for JoWooD. To be safe, though, we recommend that you download any JoWooD titles you've purchased--either from this promo or not--and archive a backup of the GOG installer, because it never hurts to be safe.
I can't buy Gothic II now, I'm gonna get it with Witcher II (own all the other games to get with it already)

Unless it's removed from the store before that.

I believe there is a solution for this case (got all games from the list). Maybe you want to check the Witcher 2 forum or send an e-Mail to the support.

Edit: Ahh, forgot to write about the topic. Very nice promo for a sad reason.

Edit 2: The relevant info for your case is on the gamepage:

What if I already own all the available free titles?
For those users who preorder The Witcher 2 on GOG.com and have already purchased all of our announced free titles from the GOG.com store before The Witcher 2 is available, we'll have an alternative gift.

well, I already have it on DVD (without expansion, that is) and have already finished it (again, without expansion)... so, I'll probably wait and let the almighty Cthulhu decide :)
Ah, I wish SP2 was available on GOG. :(

Now I'll have to wait for GG to get the Universe pack on sale.
Sad to hear about issues with JoWood, I was kind of hoping you'd get Rally Trophy here some day, but I guess that won't happen anytime soon :(
How much is an IP worth if a company goes down? Maybe we should all donate 20 bucks and buy an IP for ourselves? :D :P

I would be in, if it would be this cheap :)
Everything was $1.50 to $2.50. There are a few things I wasn't sure it I'd like or not, but to hell with it, I got it all. o_o
Contemplating whether to purchase the wishlisted Painkiller Black Edition or not.
Can't risk the game being removed from GOG in the future.
Argh, I already have everything.
Oh I had a few on my wishlist.
I scooped them all up for that price.

I mean, I already have Gothic 2 on Gamersgate, but now I have them all.

(I'll take that alternate gift with my Witcher 2 pre-order thank you very much!)

and that's just what this marketing move was all about :D
Hmm, can anyone recommend Chaser and the two Dark Fall games? I have everything else from the promo which might interest me.

I am apprehensive about the "just in case, download and back up" message, as I have a pretty slow internet connection...

in case Gothic II goes off GOG, it will surely go off the offer with Witcher II as well and might be replaced by something I want even more ;)
