Here at GOG.com, we're all about our users and the partners who decided to join the crazy ride into the DRM-free PC gaming. We stick with them through sickness and health, the good and the bad times. As you may have heard, JoWooD is having some tough times lately. Together with the publisher we've decided to give you a chance to get your hands on all the JoWooD titles you're eagerly wanting to buy, but maybe haven't yet. Well, now's your chance to grab those gems at a heckuva bargain!

In this special week-long promo we encourage everyone to get JoWood games with an up to 75% discount! The catalogue includes such gems from PC gaming's past like , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/gothic_2_gold_edition]Gothic 2, , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_guild_gold_edition]The Guild and more. If you buy all games from JoWood's catalogue, or complete the collection, you'll receive a 75% discount! If you're interested only in some games from the offer, you can still get them for bargain with 60% off! The promo ends on Tuesday, May 3 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Since you guys are all going to be asking: we don't know what the future holds for JoWooD. To be safe, though, we recommend that you download any JoWooD titles you've purchased--either from this promo or not--and archive a backup of the GOG installer, because it never hurts to be safe.
Hm, not sure if I'm interested in all of the ones I don't have, but I don't know if I'll be able to resist this: 10 games for: $18.90 you save: $57.00
That's a pretty nice discount :)
Awesome.

Although the thought of the games possibly not being available anymore some time soon is not a compelling one.

I like the thought of 'owning' them. A thought which is kind of lost if Gog loses access to these games after purchase. Sure I can keep them on my disc, but it's not quite the same.

Download them as soon as possible then, it's not like they can or would take the games away from you (no DRM, remember?). Besides, all games that have been removed from sale so far are still available for download for those who bought them.

Everyone should try Neighbours From Hell Compilation for such price.
12 Games for 15 €... a steal :)
Aaaand.... [plonk]

There we go, I now own them all. Neato (: Now to nab all the extras and stuff just in case.

Obviously, it's better for everyone if this works out, but we all know that sometimes bad things happen to good people. It just means later the good people get to go smash the bad things with blunt instruments/shiny instruments/fire/ice/delayed karmic attacks.
Will there be weekend promo this week as well? If yes I'll hold until Frioday with purchases.
Oh come on, I already own all the good games in this sale.
It's like you don't want me to buy from you GOG.

It's hard to describe. But even if I download the installer and keep it around (hoping not to lose it one day), if some day later they strip my rights to download it from Gog for whatever reasons, that still doesn't sit right with me. It doesn't feel like i own it anymore then. Whether that makes sense or not.

And regardless of the past, there's always a chance they remove it, hence them mentioning it, just to be safe. Did any of those past removals happen because of bankruptcy?

I guess in the end, I love digital sales, because they are digital. Because I can delete and download them. I don't want to bother keeping them around, neither on disks or extra HD space. Nor have to move them around just to not lose them.

Developers should go bankrupt more often.
