VirtualPenguin: Bought: Gothic 2, Neighbours From Hell, Panzer Elite SE, and The Guild
Already owned: Painkiller, Spellforce
All those games which I haven't got the time to play... :P

The curse of GOG. ;)
I blame my inablity to completely pay off my credit card on GOG. There are so many great promotions and sales I can't help myself. I love you and curse you at the same time.
Gothic 2 Gold is a must buy for anyone who likes good games and is not afraid of playing challenging games, Guild is great for everyone who likes strategy games. The rest I never played.

What's gothic 2 like? I am a tad wary of heavily fantasy games, though I do like a good exploration/adventure RPG like Morrowind.

BUY IT!
And go to options and set controls to your liking (preferably wsadqr+mouse).
It is a game that rewards exploration, the world is absolutely amazingly realized with great atmosphere. And the expansion world is breathtaking.Morrowind has nothing on this game (I liked it too, but compared to Gothic..meh).
Son of a ..... well gog you just got more of my money. I bought SpellForce way back when it first came out and then coudn't find any of the expansions for it now I have them. The deal was just too good too pass up Gothic 2 also. So many games and so little time to play them.....
I just stole Spellforce from GOG for about $7 muahahahahahahaha I'm such a bad guy

Yes you should if you want to play one of the most unique and addicting games in the GOG catalogue.

El_Caz: That means at least four people, myself included ;-). ('cause I can guarantee JudasIscariot and TheJoe WOULD ABSOLUTELY recommend it.)

You rang, sir?? :D

Why is only gothic 2 and not gothic 1 offered in this promo??

Because the first game is not a JoWood game?
I already own most of the games offered in the promo, but i'm kinda interested in Painkiller. Looks like a good FPS.

Painkiller is at its core, a straightforward shooter. The game throws a lot of enemies at you, you blast them then proceed on to the next area. The bosses are ridiculously huge and there are no end of secrets scattered throughout the levels. Many see it as the true successor to Doom. It's great! But it's not the kind of game for people who like a good story.
