Right, so I need help, preferrably from a native english speaker. Why? 'Cause on monday, I've got a job interview and I need to get a bit more fluent in my english speech. It's not all that horrible, and I don't need to be the best english speaker in the world either, but I could use some practice.

So, basically: Who wants to do some jolly cooperation? Suggest a game, I've got quite a backlog (PC only) so someone is bound to suggest something I already have fairly soon, and we can get to playing during the weekend. I'd like to play with more than one person for obvious reasons, so it's not like I'm asking anyone to sacrifice the entire weekend.

Well... Please?

Oh, and watch a lot of English shows/listen to audiobooks. It really helps.

I need to learn speaking at least a bit fluently and coherently. I think I'm not all that bad anyway, but talking with someone in english would help to calm me down quite a bit, so I'm not so nervous during interview. And that goes a long way. I've tried doing this with a few friends from Czech Republic. We ended up speaking Czech anyway.

Most foreign schools teaches proper 'Oxford' English - which in reality no native English speaker uses in normal everyday conversations,.

My gaming computer doesn't have an internet connection, plus I will be helping a good friend install a generator at his home tomorrow. But, I just want to point out, that if your English speaking is anywhere near as good as your writing, you'll be fine. You definitely seem to have a very good grasp of it, which I know isn't easy for a non-native speaker. Want to wish you the best of luck @ the interview!

ps. and I agree with SimonG, English shows and audio books are excellent for picking up the general gist and flow :)

I'm not after proper english per se, I'm after fluent english.
