Ophelium: Congrats , +1 and count me in.
I myself have been married for almost 11 years now. My wife and I only knew each other for a month before
she asked me to marry her. We've had rough times (she broke her leg two weeks after we were married, we're also not sure that we can have kids) but we've had good times too. We've had to work hard for those good moments, but we know we always have each others' back. The sagest advice I can offer is: happy wife, happy life. In no way does this mean she always gets her way, but always do something to surprise her and to bring her joy. Make sure to remember that she is your *constant* companion in life and even when things seem miserable, she'll always be there for you. Never try to work out things alone. Try something new every so often (new restaurant or go someplace you've never been before...I'm sure people could take that the wrong way) and try to make her laugh. That's why my better half keeps me around.
Thanks for sharing your story, Ophelium! Take this good man's advice to heart, DeMignon! :)
Congratulations! You can count me in, too.
