It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Damn, we're growing so fast that soon we'll have to move to a bigger office or even build ourselves a skyscraper! But let's get to the point. We're looking for talented people who want to work in the gaming industry for GOG.com's glorious future. If you're a webdesigner or webdeveloper, have love for good old games (if not, then what are you doing here?) and would be able to live and work in Warsaw (Poland), then maybe it's you who'll be working on new assets for all those great games that are coming to GOG.com or who'll be developing those cool new features we have planned. Check [url=http://www.gog.com/en/page/work]the detailed job offers here, and if you feel you're the one we're looking for send us your resume. We're counting on you talented GOGers!

KavazovAngel: Check, with the exception of some CSS3 stuff (mostly transitions, haven't tried doing them yet)
Transitions are really, really easy, you'll understand them in a second: Specify a CSS Attribute you want to animate, the time and the function and ... well, that's pretty much it. You can do fancy stuff like bezier interpolation, but the basic system remains the same:

transition: width 1s linear

Have a look here if you want to be confused. No JS :)

Thanks. :)
Funny thing is, I have many friends who live in one country and commute and work in another every day ;)

xa_chan: ...or an historian... and i'll be there too.

/sigh too
Unfortunately you will be only second historian. I'll get there faster than you and can even speak polish a bit. :-P

puxili: ...or someone with a degree in Japanese Studies with focus on Shinto. I'm sooo gonna get that job.

/joins the sighs

Vel_Grozny: It must be so cool to have such degree... I'm getting my degree in IT this month. :)
It was cool. Until i started searching for a job... ;)

klaymen: I wish GOG would search for totally useless people, then I could apply.
Here here. I'm in the same category also.

You guys need a coffee fetcher? Official fangirl? Anything for us outside the technology field? ;_;

Just noticed I should one more sentence to make it clear how to actually use them: Adding a transition won't do anything until you actually change the value: Either because a new CSS rule is applied (for example on :hover) or you do so manually via HTMLElement.style.foo. Only then will the transition play, that's why you don't specify start or end values in the transition itself.
GOG needs GOG game testers :3

Dibs on that job
Is there any chances that you can outsource it? I love to work with you guys but unfortunately we are in another country.

We have a lot of talented Web designer, Web developer, Graphic artist and IT specialist that can help you guys.

Hope we can do business.

No worries, :) I'll get it. Just that, I haven't even looked at most CSS3 stuff yet, didn't really have the need to.

I'm pretty sure that's a lot more tedious and a lot less exciting than you think...

There's not really any practical use yet, but things are starting to look up on many fronts with IE9. It's not the best browser, but it's the first acceptable one that has a chance to reach business users. It will probably take another 2-4 years until we can put our CSS3 skills to real use, but hey, at least now there's light at the end of the tunnel :)

Kurina, you're already our "Official Fangirl", but unfortunately the post is not paid.
As for 'totally useful people' we already have plenty here - just look at me ;)

Sorry we're looking for someone who will work here in the office.

Is speaking Polish a requirement? Or is English practically the second office language anyway?

I know it seems strange to ask the question in the forums, but hey: I like things simple and asking here seems much more straight-forward than preparing something when there's no chance anyway.

Hmm...well I would qualify for both. 15+ years experience, however I do not live near the Warsaw office so I am out. :-(
