Not important, but a nice to have :)

I don't get this... I'm trying to download Empire Earth using this (the .exe, I'm on Win7), but it only reaches ~80% and then says

"Current download progress: 84.05% Total download progress: 80.85%
There was an error downloading setup_empire_earth_gold.exe

Trying again..."

It repeats that message over and over again.

I've tried restarting, but nothing seems to work. It's just jammed. :(

We will try to do something together tomorrow evening. Don't remove the partial file.

I need some information for understanding if I can do something.
Open the command prompt and type

cd "<path to jgogdownloadnder>\wget\bin"

and then type

It got all the way up to 3%, then it simply stopped downloading. No error message, no nothing. At this point the only thing that moves is the ETA, which is moving the wrong way (i.e. counting upwards)

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, we can try with a workaround.
You will need a plugin called "Cookie Exporter". After installing it, you will find "Export Cookies..." under the "Tools" menu. Login into gog.com and use "Export Cookies..."; export the cookies in a file called "cookie.txt" in the directory called "datas", that is a subfolder of "JGoGDownloader".
Then, you need to download this file in the same directory.
After that, run the application and you should see the list of your games...

Tried that. I get an "there was an error downloading the games list." What could be the problem here?

It's not. It's allowed to go out.
Is there a debug switch I can enable to see where it's erroring out?

There is no a debug switch. But we can see what happens using wget directly.
Open the command prompt and type

You're missing cookies which is probably caused by the second error

And yes, I saved the cacert.pem to the wget directory. Same error message.

add "--ca-certificate ..\..\datas\cacert.pem" to the command and try again.

EDIT: as you can see, cacert.pem file must be in the datas directory
