I won't even bother with describing the game, here you go:
Review (if you'll find better, post it, please :D)
In short: 'top-down' shoot-em-up comparable to, let's say, old Raptor (comparable doesn't mean the same quality, since I love Jets 'n' guns more than any other shoot-em-up game :D Upgradable weapons, great graphics, great music, awesome gameplay... Hey, go and buy it :D Original version is 19 USD, GOLD's worth 29 USD.
Homepage:
Here!
What more can I say.. Just go and order it, if you like shoot-em-up games! :D
Worth mentioning: It's a czech game :-P
Forgot to mention the very reason I was creating this topic: Hey, who played it, who liked it? :D

Fileplanet or somewhere had it for free at some point, so I downloaded it there. It was really good, a little slow and a little difficult though, and the mouse controls don't work great. I enjoyed it though.

not a top-down, it's a sidescroller btw =)
it's well worth playing, it turns up on http://game.giveawayoftheday.com sometimes
honestly this game is fantastic, and the amazing soundtrack is done by machinae supremacy, and the weapons are ridiculous and everything explodes.
also you get to fly a hot dog van
Oh hells yes.
I got the game for free when they released it on a certain site. It's only the normal, not the gold version, but it's ridiculously fun to play.
The self-ironic stuff throughout, the oldschool feel, the awesome OST by the wellknown Machinae Supremacy (I heard about the game because of them). The presentation and atmosphere is so unique. Blowing up Machinae Supremacy at their own concert felt kinda weird though.
So, what's you guys' favourite weapons configuration? Me, I only play on easy so I needn't minmax everything, but can instead go for fire-n-forget stuff and ridonkulous effects... like this:
http://i34.tinypic.com/jf8d9d.jpg]Omnigun NT-2, Chaos Particle Generator and SunTEQ Sunray Bozotron in front
Zombie Blues Plasma Gun and Homing Missiles rearmounted
General Pig bombs[/url]
One day I will purchase the Gold version. The game's just too good.
...oh god, there's a Mac OS version??? Nooooooo! Must.... control... urge to buy...
I already have a copy, but would certainly not mind rebuying if GOG had it as well. Especially with a downloadable soundtrack, since Machinae Supremacy did a gooood jobn there.

Good news: Fenixp and I just contacted Rake in Grass several weeks ago, and they said they'd try to get the game to GOG once they're done with their new iOS game.

That would be awesome. Jets'N'Guns is fantastic, and the Machinae Supremacy soundtrack is phenomenal.
Guns are cool.
I played this at my friends house years ago, it's awesome! The game is 8 or 6 years old [depending on the version], and it's still sold at it's full price. While there's nothing really wrong about that, if RIG really wants to stick to that price, the chances of it appearing on GOG are next to none.
