Who didn`t allready heard about it: Gabriel Knight and Gray Matter designer Jane Jensen is working on Moebius. Their first game of their own studio. You find the first trailer and pictures from the alpha here:

Jensen sad, the game will be available on gog, if we want it. So for this game I open this thread to say: "Yes, we want that game!"
Demo will be available in June, the game will follow in this year (she says summer or autumn).

By th way, were the heck is Gray Matter. Is dtp entertainment afraid of DRM again? Damn it! They need money, otherwise they are fucked up. No wonder with less releases on Steam and gog. The Release of Gray Matter could also help Jensens Moebius. Because a translator for German is still missing. French, Portoguese, Spanish and Italian is allready save.

Maybe gog can give their costumers the lines to translate into German, Polish and Russian. But that sounds unrealistic.

I got it DRM free from cdp.pl (owned by CD Project just like GOG, but operating on polish market only), so that doesn't seem to be the case.
Gray Matter should be on GOG too. It's quite excellent.

Well played the alpha version of Moebius yesterday and I was not very impressed. Backgrounds and music were great but puzzles weren't very challenging and characters were disappointing (walking & talking animations).

I recognised the animations before and were surprised of the low quality. But adventures from today have the luck not being forced to show their grafic-mustles. Espeacially the style is importand. About the puzzles. Yes I'm afraid too, because mentioned the level as casual but maybe they get harder later in the game or that was only for alpha.

No wonder. The polish distributor is CD Projekt, so it maybe works for the polish version but not on the global market.

The level of puzzle difficulty and character animations seems to seize a majority of backers' feedback, thus I suppose they will be the focus of polish in next alpha or beta. I don't look at Moebius through rose-coloured glasses, I'm realistic and give Pinkerton the benefit of the doubt. It's an early alpha.
As for the game, I liked in-game drawings and background a lot together with music.

As much as I liked Grey Matter (and I liked it a lot), I believe it had the same problems. The animations of all characters were clunky, and most of the puzzles were pedestrian. The true power of Jane Jensen lies in her ability to research, plot and think the stories through.

Well they did say there will be a casual mode and a true adventure mode. I'm guessing like the difficulty settings in MI2 and MI3.

Great minds think alike!

But also you are incredibly thorough when writing these reviews on Gamersgate, so it's not easy to surprise you with something new :)

Now reading your text, it reminded me of one of the most serious flaws of that game: the characters have to walk to an item in order to comment on them. Couple this with the stiff animations and it's super annoying. Let the player click at stuff without making it a chore, please! It may be unrealistic to make a hero describe objects that are out of their sight, but it's also convenient and friendly to adventure-games players (=compulsive clickers).
Has anyone E3-news for the game?
Jensen wrote on twitter the last script line will be written on friday.
Hope it will be soon on gog.
