Arteveld: No more boring team mangement or tactics! You can go in guns blazing! Watch how your butter knife realistically slices entire limbs off your enemies and how your BB gun makes heads explode and turns your enemies to fine tooth paste! Interesting missions like "Kill everyone!" and "Kill some more!"!!! An alternate ending allows you to side with Deidranna in her throne room after you've slaughtered her every soldier and you can unlock "Sex with Deidranna" achievement!

Hm, You know.. Come to think of it, those silly ideas might just come through the pub/dev heads at one time.. And may not be aborted early enough, and they might just spawn such a horrid abominaiton..
If I was religious, i'd pray for a good JA3, for hope is all that's left now. ;)

Lucky you, you still have some hope left. I gave up on mainstream game devs and publishers years ago. Last new games I enjoyed were Witcher and Civilization IV and I fear they're going to ruin Civ series in next version so indies are pretty much my only hope of finding good games these days, beside GOG that is. Now GOG only needs to branch out and create Indie DD service in same vein as GOG so I can easily and securely buy all the indies I want (while I'd love to pay directly from indie devs I'm loathe to use my credit card on those small stores they set up and paypal, well let's just say me and paypal just don't get along).

I think autoaim is great idea Arteveld. It could be added together with long-range homing missiles. And both could replace mercs personalities and make them anonymous soldiers.
Then it would be insta buy for me. :-)

In celebration of this wonderful news i am gonna install JA2 again and play it with the fan patch, hopefullyt JA3 is good.

It's more like "i wish i had some hope". I didn't really enjoy WItcher, i kinda gave up on games in the last century. Sure, some gems appear, but i despise the "action-" prefixed titles.;P

1. The game is not being made by Square-Enix
2. The game is not being made by Bethesda.
3. It's got Germans working on it and Gothic comes from Germany ....\
4. The game is not being made by Bethesda or Squeenix....

Well, i meant "i gave up on games back in 20th century. As in, games after 2001 were not in my field of interest and such. Perhaps the sentence should have went like "game up on games after the last century or so".. Hell knows.;P

Ahh, maybe "gave up on games at the turn of the century" though I'm not even sure thats right, wheres the spelling and grammar nazi thejoe when you need him? I'd just say gave up on games from 2001 onwards myself much easier.

Well, i went for the more dramatical "last century", it sound like i was 50 or something. "When i was your age games used to be..." and so on .. ;P
