Wishbone: I am... speechless! I weep for the youth of today, for they do not recognize the brilliance, nay, the utter magnificence that is Wizball! (The C64 version, to be exact. All the other versions are crap. They really did some shitty ports).
Ah, k. I can see it's not a watermelon now. The angry cabbage suggestion had me wondering. I can see it's a pissed off looking ball now.
Yeah the avatars are absurdly tiny. You can make mine out though.
The Avatars are not too small. They only need to be large enough for you to recognise the poster.
Mine is from a game I'm currently working on (and is nearing completion!)

I think I'll add some raunchy avatar, and if someone complains about it, I'll say they should check their eyes and they have a filthy imagination.

You haven't seen aliasalpha around, have you? ;-)

Then half a dozen users use the same image and people get confused until they learn to read the name instead. (Damned Uruk impersonators)

the_bard: Some of you have some pretty strange avs. The avs here are fairly small as well. They could maybe stand to be a bit bigger. I say this cause i've looked at a few closely and i have no idea wtf they are. There is one that I was pretty fucking sure was a watermelon, but after closer inspection; I have no idea what thr hell it is.
1) Right click on avatar.
2) View image.
3) Remove the '_t' from the URL.
4) ???
11) PROFIT

EDIT: Doesn't work with mine because I resized it to avatar size before I uploaded it. :P

And what's interesting is, even if you uploaded a PNG image, you'll need to end the url with ".jpg", and they'll send the original image. See one of Weclock's old avatars.

What do you mean? It is a .jpg?

No it's not, it's a PNG image. URL and format has nothing to do with each other. The JPEG format has no concept of transparency, much less by alpha channel (JPEG 2000 does, but that's a completely different format).
mines clear enough...i think

It is, especially with the moustache.
Mine is just the box art of the game I most want on GOG
