Wow.

GOG WINS once again. You are even more amazing than I thought it's possible.
All we needed was a little patience and waiting, no doubt the GOG guys were doing a Sam Fisher / Splinter Cell thing with the scammer.

Watching & waiting hidden in the background so they didn't even realise that they were about to be hit with the GOG hammer of Doom (+10 with added lightning and fire of course). Keep it quiet that they were doing an investigation to lure them into a false sense of security so not to scare them off.

Worked like a charm.

I personally think the user should be locked in a room with The Enigmatic T's poetry being piped in until they go insane (Sorry E.T had to be done!!!)
Just a follow-up here. We are currently banning all of his accounts, but if anyone of you has a list of known scam accounts (ideally along with the original usernames they were impersonating), do let me know. In case we missed any.

We have personally decided that being forced to listen to an endless loop of "Friday, November the ninth, 2012. This week on GOG: in case you missed it, here's what's new!"is actually a war crime and punishable in the Hague.

This realization came from the fact that our video ninja is more or less forced to do this every week. Poor bastard.

retro_gamer: I've been impersonated!!!!

Watch out for a user:

retro_gamer.

He has the same avatar as me and almost identical username to mine. The onlu exception is that he has a DOT at the end of his nick.

N0x0ss: Don't tell me it started again.... Ahlala. Have you been exchanging lots of games recently ??
Yeah, he did a bad trade with one of my friends earlier today. =L
There was also an additional account with the username - aviciii

This account was set up to taunt me via PM after ripping me off when I got them a trading ban on Steam.
Retro might want to contact 'Enyalios' (Any Alias) here (Superfrog avatar) - He's expecting Spec Ops The Line from him. =L

Firek: This individual has now been thoroughly banned. Sorry it took so long, but we had to do some backend tinkering to make this work properly. A specialized team of thugs has also been sent to his house. We tried to implement breaking knuckles over TCP/IP, but our experiments weren't promising.

Anyone who's been scammed by this guy, please contact Support. For our convenience, please set the title to "Forum scam" and attach a screenshot of the PM you got from him. Also, copy-paste the code you lost, as well as his username, into the support ticket (so we don't have to figure out what kind of character-switching he has done). We'll give all those affected a code worth up to $14.99, to make things right.

We will also do some changes to the PM page to make it easier to spot a potential scammer.
Sorry to bug, but is this for any scamming activity, or just for this particular incident with the current guy. Unfortunately, I don't have any records left from when I got scammed for my Resonance code, and I understand due to a lack of evidence (though he had posted my Resonance code in one of the gifting threads I believe) I'm SOL on this. However, even though that's the case, I wanted to thank you guys for dealing with this asshat never the less. It was over the same trick as the poor people who got hammered by this jerk, and again thank you for taking care of this. :) Keep up the good work!
