Runehamster: Ooh. Now I want it. :D

Lou: I picked up the Limited Edition at Half Price Books for $5.00 - You could always get it from Amazon for $100.

I didn't like the Camera Control as much as I did the original. Wish they would have kept it.
If I had $100, I'd have better ways to spend it. Sorry :P

Roman5: are you guys ready for a new release?
Sure. And we'll get one. Most likely tomorrow. :)

well

today is wednsday, so let's wait
Hmm...it's just turned midnight/Wednesday morning on the West Coast of the states. I assume GoG is in the US, and if so probably, in Cali.

D2D does thier change overs at 12pm eastern (which is my 5am the following day) (god, we're such nerds) so I'm wondering if GoG times it with D2D?

GOG HQ is in Warsaw, Poland, and they release typically around 2pm local time (give or take an hour or two); it's after 9am here now.
After 8pm here so I'll stalk the site around my 2 or 3am =D

I guess everything is priced USD because it's just universally easier to go by?

And I thought that Warsaw was in Russia ( I was one of the kids sleeping at the back of the classroom).

Yes, to prevent things like Steam's crazy $1 = 1€ conversion. Of course this isn't entirely fair either, with different purchasing power and all, but it's probably the best approach possible.

Being Polish, GOG people know what it's like to have the shorter end of the stick. Their insisting on worldwide distribution is another good example.

And about Warsaw being in Russia... I wouldn't say that out loud anywhere near a Pole if I were you :)

I'm happy about the usage of $'s on GOG. A $5.99 game converts to around £3.80 for us Brits. That's cheap as hell. If we had to pay in Euros then a €5.99 game would be about £5.50-ish.

heh, definitely agreed

Really love the pricing policies on GoG and the way they give the same prices to everyone

I'm glad that the company treats its european and worldwide customers with respect, unlike some other companies that treat europe as an afterthought while They hand everything to americans on a Fucking silver platter

Wait? whey actually power their servers in that manner? O_o

That'd explain a lot - behind the times, prone to failure, and need to shovel a lot of sh*t to keep it going. :\

Speaking of shoveling that very thing, it's about to hit the fan, here in the States. Just two weeks before Election Day. And you guys thought YOU were ticked off at YOUR politicians.... You haven't seen anything, yet.
