People who mix up "caterpillar" and "spacecraft" upset me a bit more.

Isn't that Ontogeny?

justanoldgamer: God knows I'm not perfect and my first language is not English so I make my share of spelling (barrister instead of barista recently) and grammar mistakes even when I know better, but I was just reading a thread here and it seems that some people do not care. Why would anyone consistently use ROUGE instead of ROGUE when it is spelled correctly by almost everyone in the thread?

In the same spirit:
The head of a school is a PRINCIPAL not a PRINCIPLE.
The male first name ARTHUR is not spelled AUTHOR.

Please add your spelling pet peeves and be free to correct any errors in my posts.
Ever notice that most "Rouges" like to "Duel" wield, when they "dual"?

IMO, if you can't SPELL your class, you shouldn't be allowed to PLAY that class.
I don't know if it's intended, but Goat Simulator MMO DLC has a "ROUGE" class.

real.geizterfahr: I'm pretty sure you wanted to say "Planescape: Tournament"!
See, now that just confuses me into thinking that someone made a really cool RPG mod for Unreal Tournament...
I wonder how applying rogue to the face works? I imagine horrific slashing and stabbings to the cheeks and maybe a lockpick in one's nostrils.

........and curiously lighter pockets. By letting a rogue distract you in the facial area, you've left everywhere else vulnerable.

The more you know..... :)

Probably not. In the text on the right side of screenshot you linked to, the word "department" is used instead of "compartment". Either the dev(s) is/are not native speaker(s) of English -- in which case, both errors are understandable, and would be easy to make -- or they're defective products of the public school system.
My favorite movie of 2001 prolly is Mulan Rogue

I had to look that one up, I think I probably made that mistake all the time. My English just got a little bit better, thank you.

Because it has different meaning. To lose is a verb, meaning you don't have something anymore afterwards. But if something is loose, it isn't necessary lost (yet), only not tight. But of course it is possible to lose something that's too loose.
