I'm in!

One year I kept forgetting it was my birthday at work.

They brought balloons to my desk, and I was just looking at everyone super confused asking "Why the **** did you bring me balloons?" Then later in the day everyone got called into the boardroom and I forgot again, walked in wondering whose birthday it was, and was shocked to find out the cake was for me! Yup, I sure felt like an idiot!

Congratulations on your GOGaversary TwoHandedSword and thanks for the giveaway, I would also like to be selfishly in for Thespian* if allowed. ;)

As for the story here is a sad birthday one, I went abroad for my Masters in 2010 and there I made a lot of friends but I didn't announce to anyone when my birthday was and I am not on Facebook. So on my first birthday abroad I went pretty much alone to have dinner and catch a movie only my family called me and wished me a happy birthday. Well I still enjoyed my time alone as I am not really that social and don't like crowded parties but it still felt lonely celebrating my birthday all alone. :)

Thanks for the giveaway, I'm in then :)

Hmm.. can't really think of a so grea story. A small niceone was, that on my 18th birthday I got some nice little garden party with friends. And the first song playing, as I turned on the radio, was "I'm Eighteen" from Alice Cooper. Was some real nice coincidence ;).

I had a realy good run as a kid for my birthdays or was it xmas... each year I got a good rpg:
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX... in order. Was happier times.

Speaking of FFVII..........I bought the PC version of the game on the Square Enix store a year and a half ago. Computer broke while back so i went to download it again.........wouldn't do it. Square just pointed me to where to download because I think they don't know any English, Digital River re activated the link for a few days as a 'one time courtesy'

Refuse to re buy the game. If I lose the downloader again I will just find it some other way or used or something, won't give Square Enix more money for it.......sad how they see the franchise as a cash cow and not much else these days.

Sorry, off topic rant over now
