"I'm in, and here's my story!"

Quite awhile ago, but I recall my 21st birthday while I was at college. Unlike many, mine was quite uneventful. There was the great realization that the 21st birthday (supposed drinking age) was rather meaningless since living in an off-campus coop meant you could drink any time for years prior.

In for Thespian* just because I give in easily to peer pressure ;)

No cool story here, just a good memory from me was my Dad taking me and my older brother on a 4-seat, single engine plane ride for my birthday when i was 8 or 9. Flight was awesome but one of the best parts was scaring the crap out of my brother who was afraid of heights when the pilot let me fly for a few minutes.

Happy GOGaversary, and thank you for the giveaway. I'm in! The most "offbeat" thing that ever happened to me on a birthday was getting bitten by a spider. Sadly, it was not a poisonous spider. If it had been, I would have a much more interesting story! +1
