So, I've had quite the week and a half...

1)Pipes froze in -30F weather, causing raw sewage to back up into and filling two bathtubs, toilets, and if plunged, it would come up the sink. (now it's fixed as of 2 days ago)
2)Same day my wife's mom had surgery and the assistant gave the visiting specialist doctor a used, non-sterile operational tool. The doctor found out and was furious, yelling at the hospital and walked out (after the operation). Then the hospital did some questionable things, like making her drive to another hospital herself in her gown, half drowsy from surgery meds, etc... (They may be suing the hospital now)
3) While the doctor was operating on my mother-in-law, they found cancer.
4) Same day I got the plumbers out to fix the pipes, the ankle pain I had for 3 days worsened. I went to urgent care and discovered I have gout in my ankle, so every step feels like broken glass. (To oversimplify... Gout= kidney stones/crystals in your joint)
5) Between getting plumbers out, and going to urgent care, I went to work. The moment I parked, I got out and discovered I have a flat tire.
6) It took me 6 calls at 2am to find a plumber that would/could work on my place. It took 7 calls to find one that wasn't a complete asshat. Then I found out the repair costs are over $3,000 for damages. It looks like insurance will cover some of it, thankfully.
7) I had two round trip flights in the middle of some of this. All of which delayed (up to 1.5 hours sitting in a plane) and I almost missed every connecting flight. I got to one as they were closing the door. I had to try and "run" to the other side of the airport with a messed up ankle. Thankfully, other than the additional pain from the rushing, it was just annoying.
8) I got to see my pregnant wife, and kids for the first time in over 3 months (since they don't move yet) to celebrate my baby girl's 1st B-day. Despite it being awesome, it was REALLY hard to say goodbye again after 5 wonderful days together. Only a month and a half more before we're able to move them out here.

So, in celebration of this pathetic week and a half being over, and finally being able to use the toilet and shower in my own home again (after 4 days w/o water), I'm doing a giveaway.

No sausage talkin', no poo flingin', just Sachys thankin'!

I'm in for Worms Ultimate Mayhem, thanks for the giveaway.

One game I tried recently that I enjoyed much more than I thought I would would be Daikatana. I avoided this game based on the negative reception, but I found a small amount of people saying it is not a bad game, so I tried it and I had fun. It has issues, sure, but is has character that makes it stand above many other terrible games.
Boy it sure sounds like life has not been treating you well at all lately! But I have to say that you have one amazing attitude about all your troubles ;-)

Have some good music and some good art all in one piece!

Not in, but I'm sorry for all the troubles life has been heaping over you. Let's hope things let up a bit for you from now on. +1 for the giveaway, and a big thank you to Sachys.
No sausage talkin', no poo flingin', just Sachys thankin'!

Glad you solved this, Brauusie.

One game I recenlty enjoyed was Resogun. I say "well, let's try this, it's free after all", then I completed it in one session (it's very short, anyway).

And probably I will give it another play.

I'm in for Super Killer Hornet: Resurrection or Archon Classic , thanks!
Not in, but glad to hear that things are steering in the right direction.
No sausage talkin', no poo flingin', just Sachys thankin'!

In for:

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem
Worms: Crazy Golf

And that was one crazy week and a half....:(
Hope things will get better for you, mate...
Not in, but thanks Braussie and Sachys.
Life sure has a way of testing your... well, your everything.

All my best to your mother-in-law. She has a battle ahead of her and I hope it turns out well.
Not in but +1

Think of it this way - At least you don't live in Detroit ;)
Not in but +1

James :-)
"No sausage talkin', no poo flingin', just Sachys thankin'!"

I'm not in for myself, I'm in for Braussie because I hear that guy needs some good stuff to happen, even though he might not have time to play his prize because he probably has more pressing matters to attend to.
You get a +1 regardless.
Not in but thanks for the giveaway and I hope you have smooth sailing from here on in.
No sausage talkin', no poo flingin', just Sachys thankin'!

Both Worms games please

Not sure how to answer D question, can it be any game? i haven't played alot of different games then, i've been playing a MMORPG turn-based game, i didn't think i would get stuck to it because of it being a turn-based game.
Wow, what a week and a half! At least you have many wonderful things that are worth looking forward to. I am sure your girl's second birthday will be a very happy occasion, with all of you at home. And you are going to be a father again, right? Congratulations! When are you expecting your baby?

I hope your mother-in-law recovers fully and I wish you a speedy recovery as well. And thanks for the giveaway and for letting us know how things are going on your end. Take care!
