Aww, wish I got Elven Legacy. Wanted to try that game.

Good on you OP.

Robette: I would have him flip over something trivial. Having him snap out of nowhere feels off, but declaring all enemies to be bad feels rather dull. He gets tipped off, rampages, everyone does try to hold him pack but he interprets their actions as proof of them conspiring for the sake of their evil plot.
Actually I was thinking his thought process went something like this:

"Only evil people have dungeons, these people have a dungeon. Therefore they are evil and I should kill them."

Whether or not he's right about them is what I'm debating at the moment.
Cool game, are the stick men the final graphics or are you going to replace them with a different type?

ThatNinjaGuy: I did plan on having the main character be an insane violent psychopath, obsessed with what he considers to be "heroic". (I'm still debating on whether the enemies have actually done something bad or if the main character just thinks they have.)
Yay, another Dr McNinja simulation.
And the next version is ready, hopefully fixing the issues you guys had with it.

Biggest changes are the new lighting effects and the fact that there's an actual menu instead of dumping you straight into the game.

The fancy lighting can be turned off in the options menu if you don't like it or it causes your computer to crawl.

They're final as far as I'm concerned. I'm not very good at drawing so I decided to keep it simple.

Yay, another Dr McNinja simulation.

Is this good or bad?

I got an error:

If you wanted me to do some different graphics for it I could.
Also what programs did you use for the programming and animations?

You died didn't you? At any rate I think I just fixed it.

I use Game Maker 8.1 for programing and drawing.

And I would love it if you did graphics for me. Although I would have to rename the game if I'm not using stick figures anymore...
Hi, cool game.
When I start/play the game the window is a bit too small, so I can't see the numbers at the bottom.

Looks like your desktop resolution isn't high enough, I'll bet a fullscreen mode could fix that though.

I'll see about including it in the next version.

Cool. I actually have game maker studio and am planning on making my own game sometime(whenever i get around to learning how, that is)

I will post a character sketch here sometime in the next two days (since i sleep now and am busy tomorrow )
I will also try to keep within constraints of sort of stick man type since i am not overly good with drawing myself.
It will be good practice anyways :P

It doesn't matter to me if it's not any better than what I've already been doing, just having somebody else handle it would speed up development time by quite a bit.

Edit: Fullscreen toggle added to options menu.

Is this good or bad?
You judge.

(The very heroic Dr McNinja has a bit one-sidedly decided that King Radical and his organisation are the epitome of evil, even though we readers are still a bit dubious about that.)
Here are some characters I designed.
Let me know if you like them and if you want me to work on other stuff.

I learned 2 things while making these.
1. Working with a mouse is EXTREMELY hard.
2. Being a pencil or drawing expert does NOT translate to being a digital art expert.

These are not very good but somewhat falls into the stick man category.
Also i realize that they have no arms. I am waiting to draw them at a time in which they may be animated.

Can't you draw on paper, and then scan (and filter background) ?
