Closing in on $1.5 million. Looks like Spoony gets to interview LB.

mondo84: New interview with Richard Garriott.

Surely he will gain some new fans.

Reever: :D
If you read the real (and full) quote, it is quite a bit ..... not a fucking thing like how it sounds out of context.
If you haven't seen it, watch the interview of "Lord British" on YouTube called: "Matt Chat 187: Shroud of the Avatar with Richard Garriot"

He gives more insight, and I've never been into the Ultima games per se. However, this interview makes me crave for it, the direction he is going for with this one!

There is also only 1 day left for the kickstarter!

I know, but he still comes off as pretty arrogant. I can only say more after having played his games, but yeah...
The Spoony interview is a go. It could be brutal, but I think it goeing to be very funny. 36 hours to go. I hope they will still be taking pledges after the KS is finished. I was unable to pledge during this project.
2 hours left.
< 10 minutes left. What an amazing last 36 hours. They only missed two stretch goals. I'm impressed.
Its over.

Is everyone's opinion of the game is still the same or you warmed up to the game?

I'm impressed how much weight LB's name carries. Makes you wonder what "Old School RPG" did wrong.
Gameplay video released:

I have to say, for a prototype made in three months, it looks very impressive. I'm even more excited for that game.
I agree that it looks good! Don't know if I'll be one to go around and craft my own chairs, but the dialogue system seems really interesting, I wonder how much input it will be able to recognize!

No quest log is rather a disadvantage for me, at least if there's no journal where you can note hints or something yourself! Helps you get an overview of everything! And that way you don't forget everything :P
I agree, it looks very promising. Lord British may regain my trust.
It's far to early to be sure, but I'm cautiously optimistic about this game so far.

I missed out on Ultima Online, but have always been interested in the virtual world approach it seemed to take versus the theme-park style that has been popular in MMOs since.
Now this has my attention, nice work :)
