The thing that confuses me about this KS are the funding levels. Originally there was the "First reponder" tier for $25, then they added a "Second responder" tier, it appears they probably will add a "Third responder" tier. That's all well and good, but the people that pledged $40 from the onset are getting the same game of the lower tiers. Odd.

I don't know about you guys but i'm totally not convinced by what I've seen so far. And all this mmo crap makes it even harder. Not backing for sure. I'll wait for the reviews, when it's released.

At least a few people chose the $40 tier even when there were "First responder" slots still available. I believe pledges can be raised or lowered while the kickstarter is still in progress if so desired.

They just added another tier, $33 to be exact. They're also granting anyone who funds this project the title "Pioneer" Funding @ 831,803

I'm in the same boat.
I've read all the updates and looked over the alpha content; yet still feel this is no different than some generic experience he is proposing on a bloated budget.
I'm just in shock this is nearing its goal.
I'm also pissed that from the moment it went live the Torment and Mage's Initiation kickstarters slowed down immensely.
They should have waited.

waiting on my replacement bank card because some fuck stick scribbled down my digits and tried to go on a spending spree, no money out of my account since the little fuckers tried to spend more than I even had and got themselves denied at the register.

at the same time I am shit out on my ability to buy anything online till I get me new card in the mail, that includes pitching in on this even thought if I could have I would have been a first responder.

Crosmando: I stayed up to 3AM on Friday to see this?! A fucking MMO?!

I'm going to bed, if any of you gentlemen contribute to this I will be disappointed.
I've actually seen some similar(top-down, 2d graphics, etc) games made by indie developers that were quite well received.....just because it has a multiplayer aspect doesn't mean it'll be bad, you know. ;)

I think they had a countdown or something like that. It was actually Torment that stole their thunder by starting a day earlier, although that was not the reason they did it.

Also, Torment is doing very well. It currently gets 50k per day, which is an insane amount for the lull period. Mage's Initiation hasn't slowed down significantly either. I've no idea where you're getting this idea -- all the data is readily available on kicktraq.com.
