When I go to purchase Icewind Dale, as in after I select checkout, enter in my card info, and hit "Process order now", nothing happens. A spinning green circle at the bottom of the page just keeps on spinning. I've quadruple checked my card info; I'm entering in the correct card number, security code, expiration date, and cardholder's name. So why cannot I buy this game? I've tried switching browsers, clearing my cookies, but all to no avail.
I actually considered torrenting this game too, but I decided, nah, I'll pay for it. It's a favorite of mine. It's worth a little of my money...

Having the same problem here myself trying to purchase Arcanum.
Did you send something to support? They're always really helpful. They might take a bit to get back to you because it's a weekend, but I'd say they'd definitely get back to you before the sale ends (for Arcanum).

Forum ate my post, trying again.
I have had this quite a bit this last week. Page remains stuck on "Processing Order", but it seems that the order does go through, since I do find the games on my account (and the money is charged correctly). Check to see if the game is on your shelf, and if it is, send support a request for your e-mail receipt.
There is also the possibility that your bank blocks GOG.com since the payment is routed through Cyprus, and quite a few banks in the US block those transactions. If you still have problems, give your bank a call asking them about it.
i just had my card declined as well, I am sure it will be sorted soon :)

I checked my shelf. Game isn't there. I've bought other games with this same exact card before. Meh, I'm going to try not to worry about it for the time being. It'll probably work once I stop thinking about it.

Thanks for doing the right thing. :) I wouldn't blame you if you torrented the game in the mean time while waiting for GOG to sort this out (and it will get sorted out).

In that case, I'd suggest sending support a ticket, they are (usually) quick on the payment support. Hope it does get fixed soon :)
(I'm back, long time no C :) )

I can confirm having the same issue, and have written to support about it.

*VISA or Paypal -> doesn't matter.
*Gift or no gift -> doesn't matter.
*Disabled all blocking extensions, firewall etc. -> doesn't matter.
*One game or several -> doesn't matter.

No matter what - just a nice green animating icon, and not much of attempts at SSL connections to processor or alike.

Thanks for this thread +1, saved me from going through the whole computer for potential trojans, rootkits or whatnot. I.e. the problem is not at our end.

I hope GOG is on it and post about it as soon as it's resolved. And in worse case - extend the promo. Would be a shame to miss out on some great deals because of this!
Fsck.
Kids in bed, wife watches TV - it's only me, GOG promo and decisions what to buy.
Such a great plan for perfect Saturday evening spoiled by some technical issues. Wrrr....

If push comes to shove, track down TET's phone number again, wait until he goes to bed, then call him and shriek cries of anguish into the receiver.

What you wrote is the really scary part!

Every time I try again in a different way I wonder if this will eventually result in 10 copies of the game.. :/ So I really hope what you described isn't happening right now!! (I've checked my games, gift codes, email etc. so it doesn't look like it at least)

I do have a *funny* story though...of me having to drag home a full postal bag of books when I though I was going to pickup 6 books. Imagine my surprise hehe.. oh well, that one's for another thread perhaps.. :)

Btw, thanks for sharing you experience. As mentioned this was my main concern when trying to order.
Thanks for reporting the issue. We have top men working on it right now. Top. Men.

We're still getting lots of successful transactions, so the problem isn't universal. Still, it appears to be persistent per user, as far as I can tell. I'll keep you posted.

Indiana Jones games confirmed for GOG!
Could you guys try again? Our main dev found no problems on our end, and the problem seems to be on our third-party transaction service. I would like to find out if this is intermittent, or persistent.
