jagged alliance and desperados do loo good. think i might have to give a couple of them a try.
shadow watch's graphics dont look too appealing to me but if anyone could recommend anything else like this that has a kind of random level thing (maybe like a skirmish mode on a c&c game?) if thats not too far fetched
There's always the good old X-COM games (UFO Defense & Terror from the Deep) but surely you already know those, they have mostly randomized missions.
My number one recommendation is actually
Incubation & Wilderness mission disc, not strictly isometric as you have a freely movable 3D camera but you can play it from a isometric-ish view if you like. No random missions but the basic game plus expansion will keep you busy for a while.
The Wilderness missions are the most intense thing since Terror from the Deep, for sure.
