I have to say:

GOG.com is the only corporation that I have stuck with for so long. Most corporations build up a solid fan-base then jack the prices up, take away good features, and all out ruin the products making them no longer hold any true value for the drastic prices your paying (for those "example or you have no point" type of people look at Game Maker).

That is what I feared would happen with GOG.com with the latest update.. I am incredibly happy that GOG.com still keeps fair pricing and doesn't do any of the above. They are just adding more to make us (the customer) have more options to spend money on. I love that to be honest. And while they do that they are just adding on more features to make the site easier for us to use! So much so that it is clearly obvious some of the money we spend on video games here comes back to us. That is something great to be said for GOG.com.

Just had to make a post, I'm so happy GOG.com kept it's values and didn't raise prices on old games and go all corporal whoopang on us.

Yep, sad isn't it. It's because most of the time I join a site like this (as in offering services and holding good values) just in the swing of it so within four months they hit the point like GOG just did where they normally screw everyone over.

Took Valve about five years.

See I probably would have joined about 3-6 months before that five year mark. :P

Steam took 5 years to develop?

No, but from the time that they first became awesome (Half-Life 1), it took then about five years before they really started going downhill.

Obviously it was inside but they hid it well :)

My high-esteemed view of Valve have long gone. Maybe it will gone for GOG too =)

Strictly speaking they just did this :)

There's new pricepoints of 11.99 and 14.99 now ^^

No.. you didn't read. :)

For the new games (as in not older games newly added, new new games) they have to charge more because well.. it costs more to get them.

With older games they are still keeping the $5.99 - $9.00.

Frankly, I find that Valve as a developer is highly overrated. The Half-Lifes and Portals were fun, but nothing worth gushing about for years and years. *shrug*
I'm just frustrated that it changed the ordering of my games and made them more difficult to organize. When you have 50+ games it's frustrating to reorganize everything to get it back to the way you like it, especially now that they changed the way you move games around on the shelves.
