I think my retriever would prefer to lick his balls (and of course snort). Still, the pet market is huge, so as long as there are consumers stupid enough, there's room for the product.

Probably not since dogs aren't even able to see what's going on on a tv screen anyways.

As for this instance, P1na has no clue how tuned in he really is. Not only is it American but stuff like this in the States really isn't that odd or uncommon. In fact my first reaction to "Is this real?" was that the OP was being sarcastic because we have tons of shit like 'dog t.v.' over here! And that's NO shit! :D

Yes they can, my dog watches tv a lot especially when there's another dog on screen. He watches the dog whisperer almost every morning, when I wake up I switch it on for him and he watches it for a pretty long time. I've also seen him get worked up on those nature shows with big cats hunting. I don't know if all dogs have the patience to pay attention to the tv but they sure can make out what's on the screen.

That has actually been recently disproven. Not only can they see what's happening on the screen they are also not colorblind as previously believed.

In fact it's only been in the last month or so that I read about this being officially documented so it's no slight being unaware of it.

I just found a picture on my phone of him watching something, can't remember what it was that got his attention. He usually gets up and sits on the bed in front of the tv.

My dog never really gets interested in TV, maybe that´s a good thing though, thinking of what it has to offer :P
But he really dislikes us watching football, the moment we start watching a match, he goes out the room.

Probably out of jealousy... How come they get to play with that ball?!?! Fuck this shit *leaves room*
