im sorry that i made a fool of myself and im sorry that it was a mistake to say it was closing i wont post anymore and thanks for the replies and it wont happen again

SimonG: Yes, of course. It is pretty common knowledge on the forums and the others are just playing with you.

GOG has been bought by MS in a deal to enlarge the acceptance of Windows 8 and from Jan 3 on all GOG games will be available via the App store.

Don't mind the replies. Everyone here is like a weird uncle. After you get over that they're all wearing animal costumes and slapping each other with foam swords, you'll realize they're all nice guys.

Jan 3 is the last day of the Christmas sale, but not the last day GOG sells games.

Yes, gog.com will in fact close after Jan 3. This sale is just to clear out the remaining stock, as soon as there are no more games on the server cause they've all been sold gog.com will close shop.

Hey man, it's true that the question was kind of funny, and we were having some chuckles at your expense, but please don't feel bad. People mess around on Internet forums. ;)

GOG isn't closing; the Holiday Sale is ending Jan. 3.
