Andremop: Thanks for the list, fortunately for me no important games were lost, aside from XIII.
By chance, do you have the list of games that were given temporarily by GOG (those free for a time games, like the original Fallout). I searched that wiki and found only the permanently free games.

I know of Fallout, Empire Earth, Torchlight and Ultima IV. Any others?
I remember I got Broken Sword 1 here for free, Realms of Arkania 1-3 for a survey, and there were some Tex Murphy games before my time:

Edit: And Duke 3D during the winter sales.

Elmofongo: And worse the only way to get Fallout 1 and 2 and tactics is on Steam :(

tfishell: Actually, I think DotEmu has those. But it would still be sad to lose these good old games from here. EDIT: Oh, maybe not! :(
Desura has the Fallout games as well. Pretty sure it's the DRM-free versions.

I believe Duke Nukem 3D, Broken Sword, and Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games were also temporarily free for a short time. There may have been others.

Oh, yeah, I remember Broken Sword too, but man, I lost those others, especially Duke 3D - it would look good on the shelf. But maybe it was for the greater good, I would had to buy the prequel and sequel, like I did with broken sword.

Hey, thanks, perfect list!
Oh no! And I have no idea where my old F2 CD is... so probably I'll have to grab it here one of these days :D And Tactics too.

Navagon: That's some wishful thinking. I might be tempted to believe that Bethesda might at least allow the Fallouts to remain here just to avoid any negative backlash from needlessly removing GOG's oldest and most highly valued games from sale. But they've never shown any inclination towards avoiding needless controversy or being a competent publisher.

You mean like the only way to get Arena and Daggerfall is on Steam?
Interplay will milk the last cent from those games. Expect a big sale just before they lose the rights to them.

DyNaer: er nope
That was obviously meant to be sarcastic. People choose to see the bad sides and ignore the good ones. Bethesda made its old games freely available, yet people say "oh, no, these games go to Bethesda, so they'll be only on Steam".

It's perfectly possible that the Fallout games will only be made available on Steam, but I still find it ridiculous to make excessive claims about a publisher when it's easy to find counterexamples.
GOG without Fallouts will never be the same. But I wish they did a better job with maintaining some of the other games on site. For example Dark Fall games. I know the dev is a douchebag, but it would be nice to see them restored on GOG with addition of the newest games from the series.

i don't make any claim at all , i just though you spoked about arena & daggerfall. No need to react like this.
