I feel like a lot of people are crossing fingers about the Quakecon thing.
Hope this games stay in GOG I don't own them here yet, need to grab 'em ASAP!

Elmofongo: But I doubt GOG is gonna give up on Fallout here, they will ask Bethesda to release it here under the Bethesda name and if Bethesda is selling Fallout 1 and 2 and Tactics under their name in GOG then mabye they can sell Elder Scrolls here at last.
That's some wishful thinking. I might be tempted to believe that Bethesda might at least allow the Fallouts to remain here just to avoid any negative backlash from needlessly removing GOG's oldest and most highly valued games from sale. But they've never shown any inclination towards avoiding needless controversy or being a competent publisher.

And worse the only way to get Fallout 1 and 2 and tactics is on Steam :(
the only reason they would stay is that they are selling well.

Doubt there'd be enough of a 'backlash' to concern a company like Bethesda, especially if the games remain on sale elsewhere.
If this is true, then it sucks... I just grabbed them just in case.
You can be sure that GOG will legally do everything in their power to make sure that these games are not removed. But they're going up against Zenimax, who only use alternate digital distribution services as a means to sell Steam codes, so grab them up while you have the chance.
Well, if they are removed, you can count on GOG to warn us in advance. Probably soon enough for everyone to buy it during the Christmas sale for at least 50% off. Shouldn't be a problem since the removal date is only a week after that.

Would be sad and frustrating seeing the 2 great classics going to Bethesda and being a Steam exclusive, 2 of the things I dislike immensely: Beth and Steam. Glad I've not bought a single Beth made game since Oblivion and will continue to do so forever. (Fallout NV doesn't count since it's made by Obsidian).

Actually, I think DotEmu has those. But it would still be sad to lose these good old games from here. EDIT: Oh, maybe not! :(

Thanks for the list, fortunately for me no important games were lost, aside from XIII.
By chance, do you have the list of games that were given temporarily by GOG (those free for a time games, like the original Fallout). I searched that wiki and found only the permanently free games.

I know of Fallout, Empire Earth, Torchlight and Ultima IV. Any others?
