Voight-Kampff: The DRM was loosened? I hadn't noticed. Luckily, i have a steady connection, and i hardly ever leave the apartment, so I'm good.. Connection-wise. :P
Well, You don't need to be constantly connected afaik.

Voight-Kampff: I predict that if they ever remove the DRM this game will get a renaissance. Considering how many people has passed on it for the DRM alone. The game is amazing, you should be all over it as soon as the DRM is killed off. I'll let you know when. ;)
Don't see a renaissance coming here. At that point, it simply doesn't matter anymore if (big IF) the DRM get's removed or not. People have already moved on.

That and the fact that still DLCs are coming out. Anybody who holded back so long, will wait that extra time for a complete edition, maybe even a 50-75% sale.
Yes, I'm one of them. Someday I'll probably play it, even if DRM won't be removed completely. However, Settlers 7 dropped off my radar some time ago. Until it appears with a big discount in a steam sale again, I can't be bothered.

We'll see.. A complete edition and a price drop was a given, to me. I'm talking at least a couple of years down the road. And yes, that is a VERY big IF indeed. Personally, I don't see it happening.

I would definitely buy a bundle pack of the game with all the DLCs, if they lobotomized the DRM down to something reasonable. It looks like a great game. We'll see...

My thoughts exactly, i'll probabl;y end up buying it one day with all the DLC's. Hopefully one will add a new long campaign or two.
