Anyway, as Zurvan7 posted before, and according to a friend who has it on Steam, if you haven't created a Reality Pump account, you will have to create one with a valid mail and personal info to register your game. But if it is as the Two Worlds I and II on Steam which use the same DRM, just unclick the "Register" button to skip this process (hopefully, if it exist that option).

Okay, I have now played through the demo and whilst it is an interesting idea, carrying out missions whilst also keeping track of the enemy ships approaching Earth and intercepting them before they arrive, I still won't be getting the full game.

Firstly, I don't agree with 3rd party DRM on Steam. I mean, isn't Steam enough? And yes, even a developer has posted on the community saying that it has unlimited activations on Steam, but that activation server could die one day and then what?

Secondly, the demo was buggy so who is to say the full game isn't also buggy? Bugs described below:

Initially the gameplay was smooth except for when the recorded video briefings played in a window at the top of the screen, during which the game became stuttery. After the video finished it returned to smooth play again. But then on my second run of the game it somehow reversed and normal gameplay became stuttery then when video played at the top it was smooth. Weird. And this happened in both DX9 and DX11 modes.

I also had two crashes. The first was after I died where it came up with the loading message but never loaded. The second was after the demo timed out and asked to submit my score to the leaderboard. Again it just gave the message and did nothing. Both times I had to Alt-Tab to Windows and kill off the game process.

And lastly, the game seemed quite empty. Maybe because it was just a time limited demo, so not enough time to get into the real meat of the game, but based on the time I played I just don't consider it worth it what with the 3rd party DRM and the aforementioned bugs.

I completely agree. That's why I avoid any game with extra layers of DRM like the plague. Steam or just 1 layer of DRM should be enough.

I also use Uplay, but for Steam games that require Uplay also, I prefer to buy them directly for Uplay instead. Extra DRMs are too much hassle... (:P)

I had none of those problems with the demo, its only .99 on simplycdkeys, worth a punt regardless of drm In my opinion.

Well, I use Steam and GOG, and that's all. I considered Origin at one point, but I still don't trust it yet. Can't say I've looked into Uplay, though.

Anyway, I decided to add Iron Sky: Invasion onto the GOG wishlist as I couldn't find it on there, and well, if it were to come here DRM free then I would consider giving it a try.
