Hello fellow gog'ers.

My other half has gotten an ipad for her birthday and since we know nothing about it i turn to the best community on the net.

Any suggestions on games on the Ipad? Killer apps?

Probably you would want to get Bard's Tale since it's free for today :) Other than that i would suggest to just check top of free games in AppStore just to get an idea on what kind of games to expect.

There aren't any Humble Bundles for iPad. there are only for Android.
You should check out these games:
The World Ends With You (Play It!)
Telltale Games: Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max, The Walking Dead.
Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (the remastered versions).
Borderlands Legends.
Geometry Wars (awesome game).
GTA 3 and Vice City.
Bastion.
Infinity Blade.
Horn.
Lili.
Shantae, Ace Attorney and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (that are excellent DS games).
Obviously, there're more good games. Maybe, I'll edit the post later.

Lili doesn't have a demo version, but looks interesting. how does it play? it says it's a rpg with adventure elements but it looks like it's the oyher way round. Did you play it?

Does anybody have some experience with FPS that actually work. I tried some but they all control terribly (not that i expected FPS to work on Ipad but still).

Yes, but there aren't any Android versions sadly. I don't have an iPad, but I have a DS and a 3DS.
So I can play them.
