Join the guys in charge of GOG.com for a chat!

EDIT: The video has ended, but you can check out the recorded stream here (http://www.twitch.tv/gogcom/c/4113792), or just watch the highlights below. Thanks for participating, and be sure to leave us any comments you have on the topics we discussed below! :)

GOG.com is going live on Twitch <span class="bold">today</span> and we'd like to heartily invite all of you to join us. Our founder, Marcin Iwiński (known in the forums as <i>iWi</i>), Piotr Karwowski (<i>Destro</i>), the VP of Online Technologies, and Trevor Longino (<i>TheEnigmaticT</i>), the Head of Marketing and PR, will do their best to answer your questions while remaining at least a bit entertaining, on Tuesday April 22, 6:00PM GMT (that's 2:00 PM EDT and 11:00 AM PDT) in the [url=http://www.twitch.tv/gogcom]<span class="bold">GOG.com Official Twitch.tv Channel</span>.

This wouldn't be--of course--much of a Q&A if they didn't have any questions to answer. We count on you, dear GOGgers, to provide many interesting ones! There has been many interesting things happening around GOG.com, recently, so we're sure many of you have thing you'd like to ask us. There's a few ways to do that. You can ask your questions right here, in the forum thread below. You can sign in to the <span class="bold">Twitch live chat</span> as soon as the livestream starts, and post your thoughts and questions in there. Finally, you can tweet your question to our <span class="bold">@GOGcom Twitter account</span>, with the #GOGtwitch hashtag.

We'll be with you for at least an hour (we may end up going longer!), but that's probably still not enough time to answer all questions. We'll select just the ones we think are most common to the community as a whole, and the most interesting ones as well. After the livestream is done, we'll post a montage of its highlights with just a slight delay needed to put the thing together.

Again, we invite you to <span class="bold">GOG.com Official Twitch.tv Channel</span> today, 6:00PM GMT (that's 2:00 PM EDT and 11:00 AM PDT), and we hope you'll find time to join us. In fact, drop half an hour early to catch our Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure gameplay stream!

As soon as we get the rest of the alphabet :D
Is this gonna be one of these things that you cherry pick issues that you can answer there and then and not address concerns that people have.

Example: When is Diablo coming to GOG? When and if there is ever an agreement with Blizzard.

But if someone asked about something a little more difficult like forum moderation they will get a half arsed answer that doesnt really give any indication of plans.

tinyE: That got low rated!? XD
Funnily enough, I seem to have been down-rated a bit for the first time over the last week for no apparent reason. It's not like I go around making crude jokes like some people I know. =P

Are you aware that games , [url=http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/y]Y and Z do exist? And I know at least one person who would be thrilled to see Z here. And no, it's not me, I have a strong love-hate relationship with this game ;P Besides, I already own it.

At this rate poor General Zod will never see any love. What a shame.

Magmarock: What is the exact GMT that it will be on? Fort example GMT-6?
GMT is a specific time zone that the others have an offset defined from. (Formally, it's replaced by UTC now, but for this purpose there's no difference.)

So, 6.00 PM GMT means just that - 6.00 PM GMT. To find your local time, take the offset for your timezone and add that (e.g. the UK is currently on GMT+1, so that would be 7 PM in the UK).

Oh my. Like-minded people and all that. ;)
Z would be such a tasty title here.

Twitch live chat... *shudder*
Hi

First of all I would like to congratulate everyone over at GOG.com for their fantastic service and their determination against DRM in gaming, proving that DRM-Free is not a gimmick but a right that every legal costumer should have.

Now, regarding the question.

I always wondered why aren't any Source based titles on your library, games like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic or Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. At first I thought it was an exclusivity issue since, to my knowledge, games developed with Source don't usually get released outside of Steam, but that perspective changed with EA's recent shooter, Titanfall, being a Source title sold exclusively on Origin.

So with that said, could you perhaps explain the reason for that situation and also if there's the possibility of those games being added down the line.

Thank you for your time.

I am aware of Z, yes, and I know who you're talking about that would love to see Z here (he or she has a General Zod avatar and hails from Australia, I believe). I wasn't aware of the other games, however :)
