It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

UPDATE 22.04.2011:
We have uploaded a new version of the Downloader (0.9.0.1218). Please download it at your convenience and let us know if any of the problems you experienced earlier still persist.
Major changes include:
fixed problems with logging on,
the Downloader no longer attempts to move files after changing the destination folder,
you can now change the number of concurrent downloads (1 to 10) in the Downloader's options, in case you think the Downloader is overusing your connection.

UPDATE #2 (22.04.2011):
Version 0.9.0.1224 is out, introducing some backend fixes.

I don't want to clutter this page up, but I've got a patch questions.

With the new downloader are we going to have the ability to use it to repair previously downloaded files instead of having to download the entire file again? Obviously if you haven't finished downloading the downloader seems to deal with that pretty well, but this would be for things like updated versions of games where only a few megabytes have changed with the latest patch.

Cady36: I can't even log in with the new downloader. I enter in my login email address and password, and it just brings me back to a screen asking me for my login name and password. :(

btw - my version was downloaded after 9pm, Pacific daylight time, that is, less than an hour ago.

Firek: Please contact me through the "My orders, payments and downloading games" form. I'm currently at home, but as far as I can tell you never sent us any messages through the Support section.
I did send one, the day I bought the game, then went to the other forum thread to try to solve the problem. It looked like it went through (though the page seemed to "loop", constantly bringing me back to the problem selection type. I just sent another one. Looked the same to me.

As I put in that email, it's sort of a moot point, and the extra request is for your info only. I'm going to shift from files from that dog-doo-doo computer to make room for the download, since the downloader works on that machine.

Hmmm ... I've tried this downloader, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm logged in both in the web browser and the downloader. I put the link into the web browser and ... nothing happens. I've tried this with 3 different browsers: IE 8, Firefox 4 (latest version), and even Safari. With IE 8 and Firefox 4, they ask me what program I want to send the link to, IE 8 also asks if I trust the program, and then ... nothing. Safari skips straight to the nothing. I've been running the gog downloader as an administrator. I've mostly been trying to download: gogdownloader://master_of_orion_1_2, but I've tried a couple of the other games as well. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

Can you please open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and do a search for gogdownloader? Do you have a following key there:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\gogdownloader?

Which Browser are you using? Chrome has a problem with these links, Internet Explorer works fine for me (except the faulty downloads over and over again).

Can you please explain a bit more the faulty downloads part? Are you getting some kind of error?

I have explained it on Page 2, but maybe overseen :)

I have downloaded completely and passed the Integritycheck in the Downloader. half of the .part Files have not been deleted and the installer did not start itself.

I used the Explorer to go to my download directly and started the setup. The Integrit Check of the Installer failed. Redownloaded it, same result. It was: Another World

Funny thing was, that I was downloading with about 3.5 MegaByte / Sec, but my line can't do more than 2.5 normally :)
I queued Two Worlds for download with version 0.9.0.1224 last night, but the installer was left in chunks; it never combined. The odd thing is the download was marked as complete, so it must have went through the combine and integrity stages.

interesting - did you change the destination folder during the download maybe? can you please try downloading another game now and see if this happens as well?

Can you please try downloading another game with the latest version of the downloader and see if this happens? Just in case, please remove any part files left in C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\GOG.com Downloads

No, I left it overnight and found the result this morning. I've downloaded several titles with the new downloader and this is the only problem I have experienced. I'll try again later this evening.
Im using Opera, and it works fine when downloading it through web browser.
The problem is i cant download it through GOGT.downloader.i click on add to gog downloader but downloaders list remains empty

Works fine for me in browser download (and the old downloader with the add to downloader option) but this WIP downloader fails to add anything regardless what I use.. Tried Chrome, Firefox 4 and IE 9
