Hi everyone,so far I've been able to fix all noticeable problems in my interstate 76 game except for 2 things. the music during gameplay still continues to play whenever I reach a cutscene when it shouldn't be playing anymore. Is there a way to fix this? It tends to ruin the cutscene(especially if its a dramatic moment)when the music playing is inappropriate for the scene.
Also the flamethrower type weapons only spurt, they don't do any damage to the enemy vehicles. can someone help me? (I've only reached up to scene 11 so far,I've heard that scene 13 tends to crash for many people.)

I'm using windows xp and I'm using Interstate 76 arsenal from GOG.

The game depends on a framerate of 30. Since CPUs are very powerful nowadays, the game framerate will sky rocket, causing the cars, cutscenes and some weapons to function incorrectly. If you want to fix this you have to find a way to limit your framerate to 30.

This is one of the games that currently hurts GOG's image a bit.
I've already done this actually. I'm using FRAPS to limit the FPS to 30. Its the reason I was able to fix almost all the problems with it (i.e slow AI cars due to wobbly front wheels, etc.)
However this still didn't fix the problem of gameplay music continuing to cutscenes and the flamethrower type weapons being useless. any idea what could be causing this problem?

how do you cap the frames with fraps?do you record the game while playing?
Yeah, unfortunately I'm pretty much forced to record the game in order to cap the FPS. I have to delete the videos from the movies folder after every mission to prevent it from eating free space.

So, you tried the Arsenal Launcher?
Tried the 2.0v just now. the game runs at 60 fps w/o Fraps but it seems to have fixed the wobbly wheel issue regardless.

It seems to have kinda fixed the flamethrower. at least now it is doing damage to enemy vehicles but it seems to only work at very close range (or maybe that was how it was supposed to be?)

Unfortunately,it still hasn't fixed the cutscene problem :(
Did you try bandicam?it's much more better than fraps (it compress the video while record in) so at least you are not killing your HDD while playing the game
I did just now,and it looks like I don't even have to record the video while limiting the FPS. so thanks a lot man. Altho when using glide mode, the FPS number doesn't appear during gameplay, only during cutscenes. (but it doesn't seem necessary anymore since arsenal launcher seems to have fixed the wobbly wheel problem even without using a FPS limiter)

Unfortunately this still leaves me the problem of the gameplay music interfering with the cutscenes. but still, thanks for telling me about bandicam :)
