ps. i remember playing descent 1 when i was a kid. That was something. Full 3D environment, awesome. And now I can play this again, thanks Deux_Ex!

This seems to be the gist of it, yes. Then after the sale they'll go back to normal weekend sales and such.

On one side, shame there are no extra promos.
On the other hand, I have spent a ton of money already, better for my wallet to keep it this way.
