We picked the winners! Check out THIS post ;)

This contest is over, everyone; we'll post the winning entries in a little bit. Thanks to everyone who entered, and check out tomorrow to see what our next fun contest will be!

So the EA crossword puzzle contest has ended (and we’ve posted the answers), and now is the time for us to feature another great publisher whose games are in the 50% off Holiday Sale! As we’ve mentioned before, there are more than 350 games for sale for less than $5. A lot of you may not be familiar with our catalog, so we thought we’d hold a few contests to help you learn about the great games that GOG.com has available on sale right now.

Today’s contest involves our oldest big publisher, Interplay. Interplay joined the GOG.com catalog all the way back in 2008, bringing us one of the best SF RPG series’ ever created--Fallout--as well as pulse-pounding action games like Descent, Shogo, and Freespace. With a big catalog full of quality titles, they’re worth checking out if you haven’t already.

But what’s the contest? It’s simple--take a screencap from any of the Interplay games--you can use one of ours from the game pages, or get your own--and then make us a clever caption, add speech bubbles, or create a motivational poster out of it.

Attach your winning image to an email that you send to contest@gog.com with the subject line “GOG.com 2011 Interplay Holiday Contest”. From all of you who send us images, we will select up to 10 winners who will receive a free $9.99 or $5.99 Interplay game of their choice. The contest is live from now until the 19th of December 11:59GMT. A few hours after that, we will announce the winners of the contest, as well as the rules for the next one!

Oh, and if you’re not following @g4tv on Twitter, they’re running giveaways for packs of GOG.com games from the same publishers as we’re featuring on our website. So check ‘em out!

Thanks for choosing me!
But the Fallout MMO is by far the best!
Those are great. Good work, people. You deserved your win.
Nice ideas. Congrats to the winners!
Yeah, the Fallout MMO one wins for me as well. It's witty and hilarious.

Congrats to all the winners!
Actually, I think "Stop!!! Hammer Time!!!" (image 7) left the rest in the dust :-)
Well done guys!
Shame mine didn't win, I was sure Monty Python jokes would be in with a chance:

Oh well, I'm still gonna pick up Castles 1 and 2, at £2 it's as good as winning it for free! XD

Congrats, winners! I particularly like the hammertime and hug ones. :-)
I want to call bullshit on pic number 7, because Beyond Good and Evil is made by Ubisoft, and this is a Interplay contest.

Or am I wrong? Is Interplay a part of Ubisoft?

It was indeed both published and developed by Ubisoft, and doesn't appear in the Interplay catalogue on GOG...

Good catch, mr_nabby...
Here's mine, guess I should have made a sex joke instead.

freezinghazard: I call this contest bullshit, one entry is beyond good and evil and the rest are terrible meme's made in paint.

And out of 3 of these submissions I've spent hours on not one is better than a "that's what she said" joke?
I agree, the winning pictures weren't very good in my opinion. All of the really funny pictures lost. The fallout mmo one was good and so was the arrow to the knee joke. (sort of) But the rest were pretty stupid..
That and Beyond Good and Evil isn't even an interplay game.
I feel cheated.. >_<

What is with all the ingrates on this forum? Humor is very much a subjective thing, and if your submission didn't win (even if you 'spent hours on' it), big deal. What's more, I wouldn't be surprised if the winning entries were drawn randomly as is often the case with GOG.com contests.

With that said, the Beyond Good and Evil one should have probably been disqualified, but oh well. Also, for those who will call for another winner, recall that the description said 'we will select up to 10 winners.'

Oh, and freezinghazard, good riddance.
