Pineapple and BBQ sauce.
I dunno, I don't really make anything I consider that unusual. Maybe baked open-face mascarpone and pistachio sandwiches with fresh basil and honey, or my homemade pistachio butter on toast.
Once, when I didn't have much food at hand and didn't want to go to the store, I tried to make my macaroni interesting. I made the macaroni, poured enough carrot juice on it so it was like a soup, then added strawberries.

It was edible at first.
The last few bites weren't that fun anymore.
There's a sandwich that Elvis Presley ate that is very common in some parts of the US, but I had never had one til recently.

"Fluffer Nutter" is what it's called

It's basically a peanut butter sandwich, with mashed banana and "marshmallow fluff" or "Marshmallow creme" in it. Marshmallow fluff has a flavor somewhat similar to marshmallows, but at the same time is very different.

Then you grill it (like a grilled cheese sandwhich).

It has a ton of calories, and was a little overly greasy/rich for my taste. But, some people swear by them. It was definitely interesting and worth a try for anyone who's never had one!
I once made "Patchwork Bread": Take a piece of bread, and slather it with everything you can find in the fridge. In my case this included ketchup, mustard, chocolate spread, soft cheese, cream, and some other things I don't remember any more. It tasted less interesting than I expected.

For a while, I liked to eat cold fish fillets and chocolate bar. This created a very interesting contrast that enhanced the taste of both.

Also, we of course had to try fish fingers dipped in custard, after a popular TV figure made this specific combination popular. :)
Sandwich with cheese and strawberry jam. I can't believe why so manny people think it's a weird combination. But they do.

Huh? We eat this regularly. :) Not quite as good as baked camembert with cranberry jam, but still very yummy! :)

Exactly. It is very tasty. I don't know if this comes from Germany or not, but I love that combination, but still all of my friends find it strange... But I usually use cheddar for this.

I saw Heston Blumenthal make dark chocolate Digestive biscuits with blue stilton cheese spread and reduced Port wine drizzle this week on the tellybox. Not that different from your KKs and Dairylea.

I've never heard of that here. If I may ask, what kind of cheese do you normally use? I'm interested in trying it out.
I'm using cheddar most often. But any kind of yellow cheese should be enough.

But use real cheddar, not that kind of crap:

I've heard of, and tried once, caviar with white chocolate.

believe it or not, it works together pretty well... ;p

Irish aged cheddar. *drool*
Pretty much everything with chilli sauce, you would be surprise at how good ice cream still tastes (just make sure you mix it well so you don't get a spice spoon-full).

Damuna: Was that on Doctor Who?
Yup, Doctor Who. :) From Matt Smith's first episode. The Doctor has just regenerated, feels exhausted from the process, and knows he needs food, but doesn't know what exactly. He also has no idea what kind of taste(s) his new body might like. :)

Damuna: Also, only just noticed the typo in the title. Would be great if someone could fix that. ;)
Since this thread is about eating, we can just assume that the Great GOG Forum Monster, which has been deprived of linebreaks after the latest fix of the forum software, has now developed a taste for the letter 'b'. ;)
