Does anyone know if Telepath RPG is DRM-free? GG doesn't say either way in this case.

I picked up Telepath RPG, AirBuccaneers and Survivors of Ragnarok.
Telepath RPG is DRM-free, but has an activation process which is detailed where the key Gamersgate gives for games with keys would be once you buy the game. The activation process is strictly offline, and the way it looks, it's exactly the same for everyone.
AirBuccaneers is awesome. The amount of teamwork required to keep the balloons afloat is evident from the beginning. Getting it this cheap is too cool.
Survivors of Ragnarok looked cool. Hopefully they keep the GG version updated.
Got some of the other games in other bundles and such:
- Get Tiny and Big. There's no reason for you not to. It is super cheap and super awesome. The amount of stuff you can screw around with makes it worth it even that cheap.
- Cardinal Quest is a really nice beginner's roguelike. It's simple, most of it is automated, and it's easy to just drop in and drop out of.
- Will Fight for Food is great. A lot of people don't like it because it's a little off at times, and it's really short, but it's got a pretty neat conversation system, it's got a lot of humor, and it's just got a lot of charm to it overall. Most of the game is typical beat-em-up mixed with a traditional adventure game.
- Dark Scavenger is oozing charm and bizarreness. It's fantastic. Get it. There's really no way to explain it better than just playing it.
- DEMISE: Ascension and Devil Whiskey are great for fans of old-school dungeon crawlers with daft control schemes and horrible interfaces, but that's about the extent of their audience. DEMISE has an entire online portion that's probably the meat of it (for co-op) and Devil Whiskey is solely single player. They aren't bad. They can be pretty engaging, even. But they're definitely old-school in terms of just about everything.
- 3079 is really interesting, having AI that fight each other based on faction, a lot of weapon options, a wide-open world to explore, base building to be done, etc, but it was a bit unpolished the last time I played and with all the pinks, purples, yellows and greens, it can be hard on the eyes. Don't be mistaken, it's not a Minecraft clone.
- I also have Girl With a Heart Of and Influence, but haven't tried them yet.

Desura has games with DRM. They're DRM agnostic, which means they don't add any DRM, nor do they stop the developers putting DRM on.

Hmm, thanks! I'm fine with offline activation.

As for the bundle, I'll pass. I've got loads to play right now and nothing really made me jump. Another time perhaps.

Dark Scavenger is really a lot of fun. I was cautious because the screenshots don't look that good - the battle menu is ugly, and the coloring of art very old-school - but it turned out to be an awesome game. There are a lot of little choices that affect the gameplay and the quirky humor adds to the fun.
I'm waiting to see what games HiB and Indie Royale will have in the coming days, but I might get this bundle anyway. Project Black Sun interested me for some time, Survivors of Ragnarok might be an interesting game when completed, and Tiny & Big is new and sparky despite being short.

I agree about Dark Scavenger, from what I've seen so far, and also on Cardinal Quest, although I wouldn't say it's easy to drop out of, because then you'll lose all your progress (which is my main gripe with the game).
Anyway, I'd be interested in your opinion on Telepath RPG, when you get around to playing it. :)

I thought it lacked content though. As a small bonus in a bundle it is alright, but it is not a game that I would pay much for. Also, character balance is pretty bad in it, with the wizard clearly being a lot better.

Dunno, it's all a matter of taste but personally I find that's a lame excuse for not including a savegame function. I don't want to be forced to schedule my gaming, even if it just involves 30 minutes of my time. Besides, I don't think it's advertised as a 15-30 min game, or is it? If not, you'll only learn that by gambling and playing through it, no matter how long it takes. For all a new player knows, it might go on for hours.

The only game that interests me is Tiny and Big. Anybody else have strong recommendations for adventure-style games in the pack?

I had a short go on it right now, the little bit I tried is not bad at all. Combat is turn based reminiscent of FF Tactics. So far the storyline is interesting enough, to maybe a little generic. Not sure how much choice the player actually get in the game, both for story and char development. The graphics are a bit simple, but colourful and functional. Sound is good. It is so far very decent game, but can not say anything about how lang it will last.

Unlike most of you guys, there were so many games I wanted that I bought a gold bundle and a bronze bundle. :3
I had several of the other games before-hand. In fact, aside from Influence (which I had no interest in anyway), I have all of the games on offer now. :D
I don't have much to say about recommendations, as I think most of these games are niche enough that I could recommend almost any of them and you might still hate it, but I can say to be wary of 3079 and Survivors of Ragnarök. Phr00t gave up on development of the former way too soon. It has some nice ideas but there's almost no actual game, and what's there can be completed in about an hour. As for Ragnarök, that game will be in alpha 'til the end of time, and unlike Project Zomboid, their progress has been modest at best.
I really liked Project Black Sun, but it's the least expensive game in the bundle. You might want to just buy that one separately if you're having trouble keeping it under 3/6/9 games.
I wish this was a Desura bundle. It sucks to get so many of these games I've been wanting that have Linux support, only to not be able to download those versions. I feel rather guilty asking the respective devs for Desura copies when I've picked up their games for a steal, but I suppose there will be no harm in trying...
